Since there's only a small number of us (20 or less) and its really on my dd, sis, and DF's best friend in our actual wedding, what did you do in terms of a rehearsal dinner? Or is there a non traditional route we could go? Thanks!

If you're having an Escape wedding you don't get a rehearsal so there really wouldn't be a need for a rehearsal dinner.

I had a small-ish Wishes wedding and we didn't have a rehearsal bc I didn't have a wedding party. We instead had a welcome Dessert Party the night before at Sago cay to watch Wishes.

Were doing a DP at Epcot as our rehearsal "dinner." DF didn't want one the night of the wedding, so it was a good compromise. If you don't want to do something formal, you could always just grab something to eat and a few drinks with everyone.

We are Escape and don't have a rehearsal but being everyone will be on the dining plan we will have a group dinner the night before (its also a kind of "familymoon" vacation week) - we were considering whispering canyon because it looks like a fun time!

We are definitely having a rehearsal the day before the wedding at 4:00pm...even though I do not have a large wedding party (8) it makes me feel comfortable knowing that everyone knows what do and where to go.

After the rehearsal we have an informal rehearsal dinner (you probably can't even call it that) at Logan's Roadhouse in Kissimmee (5 mins away from Disney). It's a come if you want and pay your own way event, we let everyone know in our newsletters and will remind them on the welcome letters. :thumbsup2

For our Escape wedding, we had a Welcome Dinner at Ohanas because most of our guests came in the day before the wedding. We didn't need a rehearsal since our wedding was so small but we still wanted a traditional dinner the night before.

We are having one, we really don't have a party, but our parents will be coming to it and we will take them to Jiko after rehearsal since they will be in the rehearsal itself, plus we wanted a quiet dinner with them before the reception and the big day. :thumbsup2

We are having a 'Get Together' dinner om the Monday night (we all land from the UK on Sunday). We are having dinner at the Turf Club Grill at Saratoga Springs resort as I figured that it rarely gets loud ans busy and we have a variety of ages from 3 to 76 joining us!!! An added bonus is that it is within strolling distance of DTD for those who want to continue the evening there!!! :thumbsup2

We're having a nibblies and drinks thingy, probably at the scat cat lounge (is that what it's called?) at POR sort of middle of the afternoon, then we can decide from there if we want to go get dinner somewhere
