Did you have a Magic moment?

Let me start off by saying we just got back from a WDW vacation during spring break. To say it was crowded is an understatement! There were more than a few CMs that looked at the end of their rope.

Here's our story... (sorry, it's long )

DD had her BBB princess makeover a couple of days earlier (I couldn't get her to wash her hair after that!), and she insisted on wearing her tiara every day. We were at the MK taking a photo on the bridge between Tomorrowland and Cinderella's Castle. She reaches for her sunglasses on her head and...kerplunk! something fell in the water. It was her tiara!! Oh, the horror . She says "Mommy, the sharks are going to eat my crown!" There was nothing I could do.

I take her back to the BBB, to ask where I could get another crown. They told me they sell them at the boutique next door. Soooo, we walked over to the boutique and asked the CM behind the counter where I can find the tiaras that they use at the BBB. I explained that my daughter just dropped hers in the lagoon. He walked us over to where they were and asked her if she saw one like hers. Yippee! They had the same exact one! We took it off it off the hook and handed it to him. He proceeded to cut the tag off and handed it right back to her! Fully expecting to pay, I was a little shocked and I looked at him and said "don't I need to pay you?!" He just shook his head and said, "nah, we want our parents and princesses to be happy." I wanted to give him a giant hug! I love this man!

I was worn out from the crowds and a little grumpy before that moment, but this absolutely made my day, and set the tone for rest of our vacation.

It's not huge, but that was our Magic moment. After shelling out over $150 at the BBB, it was nice not to have to buy another tiara, but that wasn't why I was so happy. It was just a little unexpected the way the CM handled it, and that made me happy!

No to us but that was awesome they did that for your Princess

We were at Blizzard beach last friday our last day there and a little kid was crying becasue a big bully in the water had pulled his goggles off and broke them in half and it looked like they were taking him to pick out a new pair.

We had a Magical Moment and the certificate to prove it!

my nephew lost his first tooth walking down Main Street USA on the first morning of our trip! At dinner that night at Narcoosee's, I told the waiter. He was presented with a Magical Moment certificate very ceremoniously, and a bag of Mickey straws for all the kids. The kids still talk about that waiter.

Aww that's sooo nice!!!

We've had 2 magical moments with certificates and all!

1st was in March of 08 when we were staying at GF we sat outside for breakfast one morning and while DH and DD went inside to get everything a CM approached DS and I and asked if we were doing anything. I told him nope, just waiting for Daddy and DD to get breakfast. He asked if the kids would like to open up the marina! DD, DS and DH got to go about the Grand One, wear captains hats and funny white beards and blow the horn to wakeup the captain and open the marina. It was really cute! They got to keep the hats, got their picture taken and got certificates! It was super!!!

2nd, in January we had an early dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's 5:05 I think. We got there shortly before 5 and checked in. The CM at the counter told us she was glad we were there because she needed someone to open the restaurant that night! DD and DS got to do a rope drop at Chef Mickey's! They were announced, everyone counted down from 10 and they pushed the rope down! Then Mickey came out and greeted them and escorted us to out table hand in hand with DD and DS! They got all sorts of pictures taken by a photopass photographer who was snapping away and special attention from Mickey! They even got to sign Mickey's autograph book!!! It was absolutely wonderful!!! They were on cloud nine forever after that!! It was super special!!!

I have two, we were in Epcot and we all stopped for an Mickey ice cream and were on the dining plan. Well I guess something was wrong with the CM's machine and could not charge my card and without batting an eyelash and trying not to hold us up said "Enjoy your ice cream on Mickey"

We were in AK during YOMD and were getting photos with Donald and the Dream Team showed up and gave us all Mickey Ears, if that wasn't enough as we were leaving that area we were approached by another CM and asked if we were having a good time and asked about our ears and then asked if we would like to be in a parade. Well all 4 of us were in the Jingle Jungle Parade that night. Kids are still talking about that one.

And people ask why we vacation at Disney every year?

You guys just reminded me of another thing that happened on our trip. I completely forgot about it until you mentioned certificates.

As we were leaving Hollywood Studios two CM's approached us and asked us if we had a minute. I asked "what for?" and they said "for a magical moment." They gave our kids balloons, bubbles, and bracelets. They took a polaroid photo, and gave us a certificate. They got a little information from us and sent us on our way. I was a little confused, but the kids thought it was cool.

Come to find out....they were just after our email address because the survey we received upon return from our trip specifically asked us questions that started with "during your interview..."
