Did you have a favorite stuffed animal while growing up?

I had a little white teddy bear. He was only about 10 inches tall. I still have him sitting on a shelf in the living room.

My oldest DS (23) still has his large stuffed racoon he called Bandit. It looks like roadkill now but we still have it up in his closet.

My brown teddy bear that my grandmother gave me when I was born. Still have him somewhere in a box.

Yes I had a stuffed lion with a hard plastic face and I still have him!!

A Steiff lion from Germany. Got it when I was 10 and I still have it at 56.

Mine was a Pooh. His shirt is long gone, he's missing one eye and he's a far cry from his original color. Boy, did he get a lot of lovin. I have him tucked away in a box in the closet but every now and then I get him out and give him a hug.

I had a white mouse and her name was Missy Mouse. I still have her but her head has fallen off. I keep meaning to attach that back on!

Yup, I had a little stuffed dog that was actually given to my Mom at her baby shower for me. I named him Carlisle and he was my treasured friend for many years. He sits like a king on his throne on top of my bed. I had hoped my boys would love him like I did but they sort of look frightened by him! He is majorly raggedy looking, since he is 40 years old.

Boy, did he get a lot of lovin. I have him tucked away in a box in the closet but every now and then I get him out and give him a hug.

LOL! That is too sweet. I hug my stuffed animals from time to time. The other day I dropped my beloved Chili (he is a polar bear that I've had since I was a teen) and I found myself apologizing profusely to him and then went on to give him several hugs.

Yes i did,. It is a brown teddy bear. he is just about in every picture of me growing up, if he wasn't tucked under my arm while eating a sandwhich he was being held for a picture.

He is so old, some of his fur on him is shown his skin, he also has been sewen up at the back where is stuffing was coming out of him.

I have moved so many times as a child and as a student while studying at university but i never lost him, he is sitting in a cupboard at the moment waiting for when my husband and i start a family.

DOnt ask me what his name is as in never remember calling him anything. i will have to ask my mum if she remembers?

Mine is also a brown stuffed bear with a jingle bell in his ear that I got for Christmas when I was 3. His name is Jingle and he is now in my sons' room

Teddy was waiting in my crib for me when I came home from the hospital. Right now, 35+ years later he is sitting on my bookcase in the bedroom. He is missing a lot of fur, one ear is ripped, and I know he fell in the toilet at least once that I can remember. He also went with me on my first trip to WDW in '76 and came home with a stuffed Minnie 'girlfriend'- Minnie got eaten by my puppy a few years later

A stuffed beaver I named Eve-er. He's flat from me sleeping on top of him and his nose and mouth are now off-center. I chewed on his plastic teeth. In short, he's so ugly no one else would ever love him. But he's special to me and I have him packed away in a closet. I can't put him out, people would laugh at him, and I'd never do that to a special friend.

I have a stuffed rabbit named Hunny Bunny. He has lost all his fur and been reupholstered several times. (He is the kind with the hard plastic face too.) My mother would cover him as her got loved to death.

Sad story...I have a stuffed dog. When my friend gave him to me in high school (about '84,'85), I named him Gibby after a guy I had a crush on(later became best friends). Unfortunately, due to a chemical imbalance, Gibby is no longer with us. But I still have my stuffed dog and sleep with him every night. Can't bear to part with a symbol of a great friend I miss.

I had a headghog puppet called Herbie that went everywhere with me. I am 27 now and he still sits on my guest bed at my house. I had a Snoopy too that went everywhere with me.
