George Reiger, the Disney tattoo guy, is removing his 2,000 Disney tattoos.
The reason?
Love.
"I've been living a Disney dream, but now it's a real fairy tale," said Reiger, in a phone interview after getting off a Disney Cruise Line ship in Miami on Wednesday.
He said he met Kathleen, whose last name he declined to reveal, at the 2009 D23 Convention in Anaheim, across the street from the Disneyland Resort, when she sat down in a lone open seat next to him at a Disney fan convention sessions.
"She thought all the tattoos were disgusting," he said.
Even with that disgust, love grew and flourished.
Reiger said it's all related to D23, Disney's official fan club. Their birthdays are on the 11th and 12th, which adds up to 23; his current address in Pennsylvania has the number 23 in it.
Reiger said they love to dance to the song "Bright Little Star" that plays in the "Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe" automated show in Tomorrowland at Walt Disney World.

A number of people that claim to know him well all see him as a habitual liar with issues.
Also, I would think LONG and HARD about getting rid of ALL those tatoo's, especially for another person, you don't like my tattoo's or my Disney collection, see ya!
I have a DH that collects Cannons, Guns, Swords, etc, if I told him to get rid of anything, he would tell me STOP going to DISNEY every 3 months, so I wouldn't say a word.
