Did you find POFQ rooms noisy due to no carpets?

Did you find POFQ noisy due to lack of carpets since renovation?

No. The noise level is about the same as before when there was carpet.

Stayed at POFQ twice last year with the new room revisions, and the floors were not loud at all. Never noticed noise from other rooms (we were on the first floor) or our room. The floors were comfy and clean.

We stayed in a coronado springs room a few months ago (renovated, no carpet) and it was super quiet. No issues. Love the lack of carpet!

We just stayed 3 nights at POFQ and were on the 3rd floor with a connecting room (we didn't know the people on the other side) and we had no noise issues at all! The resort was extremely quiet! We then stayed 7 nights at All Star Movies in a renovated room with no carpet, this time on the 1st floor, and we also had zero noise issues there and we never heard anyone above us.

We did not notice any increase in noise with the laminate floors.

Stayed at POFQ over New Year. Our room was on the first floor and we never heard any sound coming from outside or our neighbours. We loved the renovated room and the laminate floor.

We stayed at CSR with the new floors, I did not think that it caused extra noise, but my husband did. He said the room seemed more "echoey" lol

For normal walking around, you won’t notice much difference. However, if you have a small child who likes to throw or drop plastic toys, the hard floors will be noticeably louder. Something that makes next to no noise when tossed to the carpet can make a loud clatter on the laminate. My son, who is autistic, tends to drop things, and I was shocked at how much noise this made on the new floors at the Yacht Club.

I didn’t notice more noise than usual from the neighboring rooms, though. So that type of noise doesn’t seem to carry through the walls as much as it echoes within the room.

I love POFQ and would not hesitate to stay there due to the floors. Have fun!
