My 7 month window is coming up. As of right now there are 1 bedrooms available at Beach Club and Boardwalk.
We prefer the quiet pools so Stormalong Bay isn’t a deciding factor for us.
Considering mainly service and cleanliness, which would you prefer?

Do want the hustle and bustle of Boardwalk or the more relaxed atmosphere of Beach Club (sans SAB)?

I think they are both pretty darn fantastic.

I would say service and cleanliness are going to be the same at both. It’s a personal decision which one you prefer, but for me, it’s Beach Club for the win, the quiet DVC pool is lovely there. You can’t go wrong with either though!

I would say Beach Club. We grabbed a 1 bed there at 7 months but changed to BWV only because a resort view room came available and I couldn’t pass up the point savings!

Both are equal in service and cleanliness. Personally we prefer Beach Club for the quieter ambiance. It's a plus that it is slightly closer to Epcot yet still has easy access to the BW restaurants

BCV. Closer to Epcot and Skyliner. Better quick service. Less likely to have S/D guests using BC bus service to MK (it had a huge impact on BWI/BWV buses when we were there in December). Quieter atmosphere.

If you can get a Boardwalk view, Boardwalk. There is something really great sitting out there to watch fireworks or having coffee out there in the morning. Outside of that I think Beach Club takes it.

Biased a bit, being a Boardwalk owner, but in general I prefer views so I definitely have a preference for Boardwalk. Beach Club villas mostly look at trees, other sections of the building, etc. Some high floor rooms can see over trees to fireworks if facing that way. I prefer the Boardwalk view rooms overlooking the main lake and boats/boardwalk activity, or the garden/pool view rooms which overlook the river, DHS, Swan and Dolphin resorts, etc. Even some standard view rooms at Boardwalk have more wide open views over the front entryway to canals, DHS, and fireworks from some higher rooms.

The view thing is more about having 'space' - seeing out for a fairly long distance over parks, pools, canals, lakes, etc - vs having trees or other buildings within 50-100 feet...I've never been a fan of rooms that have a building across from them, where your view are other people on their balconies...or woods views where the trees are so close that there's really no view of the sky or horizon (part of why I dislike ground floor rooms).

The BCV is pushed back from the crescent lake area. It’s a hike to get up to the Boardwalk or lake area. It’s also strangely boring to us. The Boardwalk may have long hallways but it’s up front. Right there at the lake with some fantastic dining options. Quick walk to Epcot or a nice stroll to HS. Skyliner is close if you want to try Rivera for dinner. Night entertainment for a little romantic stroll.

I’ve stayed at both and absolutely loved the boardwalk and 10 times out of 10 I would choose boardwalk. Only thing I’d miss would be the pool but 100% BWV
