Did you ever watch Alias Smith & Jones?

I used to love watching "Alias Smith and Jones". It was so refreshing to see an 'off beat' western.

I liked that show also ev

en though westerns were not my favorites as a young teen. I believe it was a take off of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Who remembers "Here Comes the Brides" ? A big fav and I had a crush on Bobby... ummm errrrrr what was his name? - I'm having a senior moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a baby when the show first aired, but discoverd it in reruns when I was a teenager. I *loved* that show!! They were both so cute ... it's so sad about Pete Duel. I didn't know they'd made an E! True Story about him -- I'd like to see that one.

I'm a western TV junkie -- loved Bonanza, and Big Valley was my all-time favorite. Anyone remember that one? It's still on cable in reruns -- I think on PAX.

I have those moments all the time. :p I remember this one though, it was Bobby Sherman.

I loved Alias Smith and Jones! I had the worst crush on Pete Duel and was so confused when he committed suicide.

DiznEeyore, I like reruns of westerns too. I like Bonanza, Big Valley, The Virginian, Gunsmoke and The Rifleman. My mother told me that she had a big crush on Adam in Bonanza and for once, I can see her point. ;)

Thats Bobby SHERMAN! Yes, I had a crush on HIM too!;) Oh, and yes I am showing my age....

Thanks, poohbear and planogirl. You saved me from driving myself crazy trying to remember. :D

I watched a lot - wonder if it is on TV land

I LOVED 'The Big Valley' !!!

Especially Jarrod (Richard Long- later known for "Nanny and the Professor") and Heath (Lee Majors- also known for "The Six Million Dollar Man" and his marriage to Farrah Fawcett).

And Barbara Stanwyck; I always thought of her as a real women's libber, with all of her forward thinking!

And 'Here Come the Brides', David Soul was the one for me..... and Bobby Sherman.... I thought that his stutter was so cute!

I remember "Here Come The Brides". It was one of my favorites. My all time favorite off the wall western was "The Rounders" which starred Chill Wills. It was only on for one or two seasons. Not enough to ever show up in reruns. :(

I had a crush on Ben Murphy... even had his picture on my wall. :)
