Did you ever rent the grand one yacht?

Not a wedding, but hopefully you guys will know.

There are 7 of us going in October. My husband will turn 60 during the trip. I thought a surprise fireworks cruise on the Grand One would be a great gift. I have priced it out, but I want to hear from those that have experienced it. I would also like to hear about any catering you may have done onboard. Any input would be greatly appreciated

How sweet! Do you feel that 7 people would be comfortable? That does not look like too much room on the outside of the ship. I was taken on a quick tour, but I don't remember too much. I just remember the deck being small.

It's not really that big. I know when they had the other model of the grand one you could sit on the front bow of the ship but I hadn't heard of anyone doing it recently so I don't know if that is an option for the new grand. I think you could make due though just for the fireworks and there is plenty of room on the inside to enjoy. There is a second level as well where the captain drives but I am not sure if you can see Wishes from there because I only remember looking out the front while up there and the boat was backward while watching wishes.

I have shoes on, LOL!!! Just really long pants. Although with the number of martinis I had at the California Grill, I wouldn't be surprised to have not been wearing any.
