I've never heard of people wearing paper dresses. You'd definitely have to watch the weather before you wore it. You wouldn't want to get caught in the rain.
I had a paper dress, but not the kind you folks are talking about. For one of my wedding showers, the guests made a paper wedding dress for me that I had to wear for the rest of the shower. They even made me walk down the street in it to my DH's Dad's store!!!
Yes, I think I wore it for Halloween. The print was either floral or psychodelic. No GoGo boots though, my mother wouldn't let me get them I'm guessing it was somewhere between 1966-1968
Wow, this is TOO funny! I vaguely remember this fad......I was a good Catholic grammar school girl in the mid to late 60's, so it wasn't anything I would have owned but I do remember them!
