Did we tip properly? Meals & taxi...

DH, DD1 and myself made good use of the vouchers during this trip. We figured we should leave more of a tip than whats included on the breakfast and lunch vouchers since DD1 ate with us, but didn't have to pay. We gave an extra 5. at each meal we used vouchers for. Was that good? We also gave the taxi driver going to the airport about a 15. tip and coming from the airport a 10. tip. We had about 4 large bags and 3 small duffels going & one additional coming back (Coming home, DH loaded most of the luggage in the car himself). The taxi service said they sometimes require you to use a private van for 60. with this much luggage, but let us use the 20. semi private van instead. The maid got 20. and a bottle of wine for the 10 days we were there (we only used one bed).

As far as housekeeping, I normally tip $3 a day for the 3 of us (I leave it on the unmade bed each morning since different maids will be making up my room each day).

I also tip the bellhops $1/bag.

i'd say the meals would be fine since with a 30 dollar voucher if you got 50 worth of food that would be 25%total (15 for the voucher and another 10%)!
