Did we even leave Canada? I swear it’s snowing Dec 2010 TR *PTR link pg. 24*FINISHED*

I was a little scared because I have never driven in the U.S. before and crossing the border is always scary :scared1:

The agent at the border was super nice. We showed her our passports and my custody papers and all was good. She even asked if there is lots of stuff for little ones to do at WDW because she wants to take her 4 year old. I think I convinced her to go!

Why is it scary? Were you transporting some illegal contriband into the US?:lmao:

Is there stuff for a 4 year old to do at Disney? HELLO!!! It's Disney, there is stuff for everyone.

I look forward to reading your Trip Report. I'm still sorting through Pics, and unpacking, but should start one some time. I am off next week, so I should have time.

You forgot to mention how hard you worked on getting all those light up toys separated and shipped off to our hotels!

I'm here too:goodvibes

Looking forward to hearing all about your trip

:welcome:

Great start to your TR!! So happy you didn't have any issues at the border. Can't wait to read how things went.

I was glad the border went easy too, some of those border guards can be jerks :headache:

I am looking forward to reading yours as well, and seeing all those great pictures

OMG don't even mention glow toys to me :headache: I'm still hoping everyone got theirs

I'm here too!! I will have to get your email address to send you some of the pictures Glen got of Ethan & Eryka. :lovestruc

Followed you from the Canadian boards!

Border Guards are strange creatures, that is the only explanation I have for some of the things they come up with.

Beaches and Cream , yum! The sauces on the ice cream make me think No Way Jose but the shape of the bowl makes me think banana split. :confused3

:welcome: I love to have fellow Canadians follow my TR

It was a No Way Jose but they ran out of the bowls!!!

Fri December 10th
Park: Epcot
Reservations: CLPDP @ Le Cellier

This is the day that I was most looking forward to on the whole trip. I spent a LONG time on the phone one day in August to get a Candlelight Processional Dinner package reservation. All I wanted was Le Cellier and this day to see Whoppi. That’s not too much to ask is it?

We got up in the morning and headed over to the food court to grab breakfast. Here is wherer you find out I am a bad DISer and I didn’t take very many food pics. I had every intention to but forgot :sad2: I do remember that me and my mom got the French Toast and the girls got pancakes. If you have stayed at Pop you know what they look like :)

After breakfast we went to the bus stop to get a bus to Epcot. Now here let me say I hate the bus service. It seems no matter what park I went to that was always the last bus to come. One day I even watched 3 DTD buses come and go before my bus came. Now remember I stayed at the Contemporary last year so I was kinda spoiled, but I really dreaded going to the bus stop every day*** Rant over, no more bus rants I promise***

We got to Epcot and I grabbed FP’s for Soarin to use later.

We made our way over to ride Nemo

This was the day I designated for the World Showcase so we started in Canada and made our way to America stopping in the shops and taking in the sights along the way. At this point Epcot seemed empty to me

We grabbed a Kim Possible Kimunicator in Italy and headed off to Japan to save the world. After we saved the world (no need to thank me, if I didn’t save you all I’m sure someone would have) it was almost time for our lunch reservation at Le Cellier

While we waited to be called the kids hung out here

ry%3D400

I was very excited about this meal especially since I am from Canada
Sorry again no pics

Emma had pizza
Eryka got the kids steak
Mom got the mushroom filet which she seemed to enjoy

I started with the Cheddar Cheese Soup and even though I may get yelled at a bit for this, I really didn’t like it :scared1: I also had the New York Strip and loved it!!! I also loved the pretzel bread and the Maple Crème Brulee!!!

We were late being seated for lunch and our CLP show was 5pm so we headed straight there. When we got there we were at the end of the line in JAPAN :scared1:

When the guy was counting we were # 321 so far :scared1:

We finally got let in and I managed to snag a seat right on the middle aisle!!! :cool1:

WARNING: too many pictures ahead

I love Whoppi and wanted to make sure I got good pictures so I think I took them constantly. Here are some of my favorites

Continued in next post.....

After CLP we made our way to the other countries and it was very crowded.

ry%3D400

Eryka wanted to stop in Germany for some candy

ry%3D400

As we made our way out of World Showcase we ran into Duffy!!!!

ry%3D400

We ran over to future world for our first ride on

Now I originally got 4 fastpasses but Emma (scaredy cat) was protesting so mom took her to ride Nemo and only Eryka and I went on it. Well we LOVED it!!!!I had 2 more FP’s but I didn’t want to leave the other 2 waiting so I promised her we would ride it twice on Tuesday. I also came to the conclusion that Emma would NOT like that ride so I better not take her on it

We decided to make our way over to the special viewing for Illuminations but when we got there I didn’t really like the spot. We tried to get popcorn in the cool snowman bucket but they were sold out. They said more were coming but didn’t know how long it would take. :headache:

We found a good spot just before Canada and decided to wait there. I have never seen Illuminations before and I loved it!!!!!

I'm here too! sounds like a great first full day- love the No way jose- haven't had it yet, but the pic looks delicious!

i forgot to take food pics too- i thought my MIL would think i was a little crazy. LOL!

so didn't you just love the CLP? we saw Jodi Benson just a few days before you (12/8) and also had Le Cellier. We were also at the end of the line in Japan too. but it moved quickly. I did notice how packed the WS was due to the CLP though. Can't wait to read more!

Jodi Benson would be cool to see, maybe next year!

WS was very packed after the first CLP, but during the day it was dead

Don't worry. I also think the soup has been over-hyped. I had it and it tasted like it had too much flour in it. The bread was FRIGGIN AWWWWESOME!! Loved, loved, loved the pretzel bread. It was kind of like Auntie Anne's pretzel sticks. Buttery bread, with just the right amount of salt.

Thanks!

I know you didn't think it was the greatest, but what was your take on the soup? I pictured cheese soup to taste...cheesy. It just tasted like flour, milk and butter to me.

I think I found it to be spicy which I thought was funny for cheese soup
