Did the points for a 2 br at OKW increase recently?

I was looking online a couple of days ago for a future trip....needing a two bedroom and noticed the points were more there than SSR and it is usually the opposite. I must have missed this announcement. We have not stayed in a 2 br. in a few years......mainly 1br and studios. Did this change recently? Is it because of the new renovations? Might be cheaper points wise, to book 2 studios for a trip with our college son and his gf. THANKS!!!

That is probably true. I was looking at early next March.

I will have to look more at the charts.....didn't pay attention too much for another trip.

I don’t recall hearing anything about a reallocation there over the past few years. Have you stayed OKW since they instituted the standard and preferred views at SSR? Once they rolled that out SSR standard villas became a MUCH better deal than they had previously been-it might explain what you are seeing now.

Yes we have since that changed. IT might be exactly what happened at OKW maybe.

Agree! The addition of the standard view at SSR put those rooms at approximately the same point requirements as OKW and I think in a few cases it ended up being lower. At some times a little higher? It wasn't an exact match but close.

I think for most of the year OKW 2 bedroom is less points, but in one season the Sunday-Thursday points are identical and Friday and Saturday points are one more than SSR standard.

I have an OKW point chart from 2016. The 2019 and 2020 points are the same except for the usual differences relating to date changes for Easter and Thanksgiving.

Only in Dream, Magic and Premiere Seasons. Choice and Adventure season OKW uses a few less points per week.

SSR points per week. 218, 241, 248, 294 and 396

OKW points per week. 217, 232, 269, 296 and 398.

Both resorts are close for 4 of the seasons, but during Choice season SSR is 21 points less.
