About the color green on TV and how bad it makes him look. Did nobody realize how TV is shot and that great huge green lawn is going to look like a stupid "green Screen shot"..... The Colbert Report has more fun times in store I'm sure.

Ok....49 people on the DIS didn't think it was important but CNN just spent 2mins talking about the error in the ways with regards to the green screen look....

Also, there is an issue with the picture of the Walter Reed Middle School that was pictured in the wide shot. The school was never contacted with regards to using the picture and does not endorse McCain. It is suggested that someone had a huge error in searching the Walter Reed Medical Center images and posted the wrong pic......

Nope - he's the dumbest guy I have ever seen, how could anyone vote for a guy like that, how could the Republicans even think about making him their choice, they must have been on dope :rotfl2:

I'm not into politics and didn't watch anyone on TV, but I did want to know what you were talking about. :)

And I wouldn't have replied except for that second paragraph, which reminds me of this out of the UK:

http://uk.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUKLE44871620080814

Council chiefs in Birmingham (in England) were left red-faced when they mistakenly used a picture of their U.S. namesake in Alabama on thousands of official leaflets.

I just read about this on another website. This is so funny. Can you imagine being the staffer who googled Walter Reed and ended up with a Middle School in North Hollywood, California instead of the Medical Center. Nothing like making a mistake in front of the whole country.

By the way, on youtube people are replacing the green screen (the school lawn) behind McCain with more interesting images.

Actually DH and I both said the exact same thing last night. We both watch Colbert and the clips some of the viewers sent in were hysterical! :happytv:

The choice of backdrop one makes a speach in front of has no reflection on if a person should be elected President. But it really makes you wonder what they were thinking!!!

I love Colbert. Have you seen the "Meet your lobbyist" segments?

In reference to what is behind McCain, since Palin is the self professed barracuda and pit bull, McCain better watch his back. She has laid waste to anything or anyone standing in her political way.

I was not online last night... but i noticed!! and was commenting to my family!!
i also kept saying.."what building is that?? "
I can not believe that it was a middle school:rotfl:

I know that you don't necessarily choose a candidate for these "trivial" things... but lots of mccain supporters are saying that palin would be OK to take over..because she would be surrounded by a good staff..:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Actually, green is the color that represents hope. Fitting! But I would have chosen a different shade. :teeth:

I noticed the green but what I noticed the most was that he was wearing a WHITE shirt. I hope the DISer who was so concerned with him not wearing white saw him too.
Isn't it petty what we pick out? Background colors, shirt colors, lipstick colors...I always had issue with Hillary's hair and brows. I will admit she had a few good hair days though. Her brows are way better now than in the beginning when Bill was running and she was making cookies or something like that. ;)
