Is it sad that I saw the pricing ($18 for adults and $15 for kids) and thought to myself, "Oh, that's CHEAP!" because I'm used to the crazy WDW character meal pricing :scared1:??!! It was a fun little character breakfast, btw. I think the word hasn't gotten out about it yet, b/c there were only about 5 families in the restaurant. --Katie

LOL. I thought Great Wolf Lodge was crazy expensive compared to WDW. Glad to hear they have one "cheap" thing there!! :)

Must be a regional thing? Unless it's so new it hasn't yet hit their website, WI Dells location doesn't offer this.

What characters? I like GWL but paying Disney prices to meet characters you've never heard of would be like paying Lady Gaga price for your local middle school band concert.

It is definitely not cheap, but honestly, it's almost cheaper for us to do a night at Great Wolf than to pay for tickets to the local water park (Schlitterbahn).

It's on the website for the Grapevine Location, which is where we were: http://www.greatwolf.com/grapevine/amenities/dining/camp-critter It's called "Wake Up with Wiley and Friends". I wonder if they're testing it in a few locations before they decide to do it everywhere. It was fun. Hopefully, they'll roll it out for everyone!

:rotfl2: That's true. We had been to GWL twice before, so my kids had seen the characters at story time, etc. Wiley and Violet the wolves were there, and Oliver the Raccoon was there, too. A handler took them around and talked with the kids about the characters favorite things (favorite color, water slide, food, etc). The handler also gave the kids a chance to ask questions about the characters, which he answered. Oliver the raccoon was the most fun, he and the handler cut up with each other quite a bit. --Katie

Thanks for the reminder!

We are booked for next week at the Grand Mound GWL and I had been debating about ordering the breakfast buffet.

I decided last week to get it, but had forgotten.

At the lodge, the cost is around $15pp. Since I added it to my package that I had booked, it was only $10pp.

I don't know, and don't really care, if it is a character breakfast or not, but I figure with 4 hungry guys (DH, DS, and 2 teenage friends of DS) that we will actually SAVE money getting the breakfast buffet!
