We have a split reservation. Our window for checkin and fastpasses open tomorrow (Tuesday). While watching Dancing with Stars I realized it was now Tuesday in Orlando.
I was able to do fastpass reservations for both stays. I got everything I wanted - including Mine Train (thought about Elsa and Anna, but nobody is particularly interested so did Space Mountain instead)!!!
Yay for living in California. This was also great because if we did have to split the fasspass reservations, the second one would have opened while I was on a business trip to the midwest, so I don't have to wait until after 11pm.
I guess the next thing is wait for the magic bands to decorate.
