Did I read that there was a way to check online to see if you have a PIN code?

I'd check every day if there was - but I'm not going to keep calling and asking.

visit.disneyparks.com/janedoe

Except instead of Jane Doe, your first and last name.

I read about this website a while ago though, I'm not sure if this is the one you're looking for or if it even still works. Also, I read reports of people checking who knew they had a pin code, but just got the regular page.

Seems to be -at least for me - just a generic site with the same offers as on wdw's regular site. Did anyone else find something different?

Reports are that it is just a generic page unless you have a pin code. But like I said, this is the one I heard about from this board and it is at least a year old. I also heard of people who knew they had a pin code getting a generic page, but there was also a report of someone finding out about a pin code this way.

I read about it here.

it's worth it to just keep calling. I called a month after i had already made ressies and yup there was free dining pin for us on what were black out dates for general public. so i called my neighbor who we are traveling with and he called and asked and he got it as well. so don't stop calling, it only takes a few minutes out of the day and it could pay off big.

it used to work, I've used it in the past but I'm pretty sure they pulled the plug on that, that thread is from 2009.

I'd just call once a week or so and check, doesn't take but a few minutes and to save $$ I go to more trouble than that at times (thinking of my hours of coupon clipping, sorting, etc).

If you don't mind me asking, when are your dates? We are booked for travel starting August 19 but would love to travel on the 16th. Hoping for a FD pin that allows us to come in sooner. Otherwise we are going a couple of days room only.

As for your friend traveling with you, you can put them under your reservation because you are allowed to book 3 rooms.

How long are the PIN codes usually good for? One month? Six months? I ask because we're not going until Nov 2011, so no point in calling now I would think.

if that helps at all. I have had some that were open for three months. I just received one that's good for one week. That offer runs through August of 2011.
