Did I pick some winners?

We're a family of six. The plan right now is for the whole family to attend but I may end up having to take children alone. (Gasp!) I'm not going to cancel this trip for anything, even my dh's inflexible work/school schedule and his dislike of airplanes. ;) Here are my chosen ADRs. Any feedback? Anything I didn't think of?

Chef Mickey's - dinner
Sci Fi - lunch
Donald's breakfast in AK (late seating so we can get into the park early and do a few things before eating)
O'hana - breakfast
Teppan Edo - dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe (lunch or dinner? Is one better for any reason?)

They all look line winners to me. Great choices.

The only one I didn't like on your list was Sci-Fi....The theme is great, but the food was ok....Have a great trip!!:wizard:

The only one I've been to on your list is Sci-Fi, and we loved it! The theming is so much fun, and we loved the food. It's not the fanciest food on property by far, but it's still tasty :)

Hubby and I have done Teppan Edo, and Donald's breakfast. We enjoyed Donald's breakfast very much and felt we got ample time with the characters. We absolutely LOVE Teppan Edo. The food was delicious and it's a lot of fun to watch the chef make your food right there. Enjoy your trip!

Your crowd is still a good mix for the Playhouse Disney meal at Hollywood & Vine, that can be either lunch or dinner. The 2yo and 5yo will probably really enjoy it and the 8/9yo will get a kick out of watching those two "shake what their momma gave them".:rotfl:

I also think you don't have anything that is more "adult". I'd seriously take a look at Coral Reef. The kids will love it, but it will be more of a break for you. There is enough entertainment for the kids too. You'll deserve the good food and service available at Coral Reef.

If it were me, my only suggestion would be to switch Chef Mickey's dinner to breakfast and O'hana breakfast to dinner.

We love Whispering Canyon....not much difference between lunch and dinner...just whatever works in your schedule.

Sci Fi...we enjoyed it as a novelty, but prefer 50's prime time cafe for a fun place to eat at the studios. It's just a matter of preference.

We're doing Teppan Edo as well this trip. Haven't done it before, so am anxious to try it.

We've done Donald's breakfast in the past and enjoyed it, but it was in the old location -- Restaurantosaurus vs Tusker House. We hadn't been back as we enjoy other character breakfast's better. However, I can't really comment on the new location and menu.

Some other fun places to try with a family are Crystal Palace at MK or 1900 Park Fare at the GF,

I agree, switch the Chef Mickeys Dinner to breakfast. We tried the Dinner 2 years ago and said never again ....... well, we thought we would give it another try last year......... :scared1: Just *ick* not good food

Now, on the other hand we enjoy breakfast

I think your ADR's look great. I am not a big fan of Whispering Canyon but a lot of people really like it. I love Ohana. It is a must do for our family every trip.

Your ADR's look great.

I'm not a big Chef Mickey dinner fan (I did like the BF), so I'd agree with the PP and say either switch the CM dinner for breakfast and O'hana BF for dinner OR , better yet, keep Ohana BF and switch the Chef Mickey dinner to Crystal Palace dinner.

In May, I'm taking my DS4 (by myself - how do you handle 3??:worship: ) and we're doing 3 of the same ressies.
WCC-dinner (we're staying at WL)
Sci-Fi- lunch
Ohana -breakfast

Were also doing:
Crystal Palace - dinner
1900 Park Fare - breakfast and dinner
Tony's Town Square - dinner
Tutto Italia - dinner
Mama Melrose - Fantasmic package

With the exception of Tutto, I think all of my ADR's are suitable for kids. My DS4 is fine with a sit down in a nice restaurant so I had to put in one for me.

Have a good trip, and I hope the whole family can make it. :goodvibes

Great choices. :thumbsup2 May you have a great time, have fun and enjoy in your upcoming trip. Looking forward in hearing more from you after you came back.

Have a nice day everyone. :)

Thank you guys so much! I just wanted to bounce them off of others who understood the need to plan. :) I will take all of your suggestions into considersation. I hadn't thought of some of those things.

Oh, my dh works crazy hours and also goes to school full-time. The kiddos and I are on our own a lot. Thankfully they are really well behaved children. I'm pretty lucky I guess.
