I was reading on another board and I saw that PI is no longer. Did I miss something? When and why did this happen?

PI closed down Sept 2008.

Sept 2008 was when it closed...the why: wasn't making enough money to justify keeping it open, apparently.

There are a few stores still there, as well as restaurants...but the clubs are not open (although they are occasionally used for private parties.)

Thankyou! Now I understand why it was so empty there our last trip!

They still have a PI sign up though, don't they?

I was there a couple of weeks ago and I didn't see a PI sign - did I just miss it?

When I drive by on I-4 today I will look to see if there is one.

I was driving on I-4 and did see a sign for PI.

There still may be signs around, but PI is closed.
