It's called the 90/10 Plan. It's a lot like Weight Watchers without the points and the meetings (I know myself well enough to know I wouldn't count or go after awhile). Basically, 90% of your caloric intake is very, very healthy foods and 10% is "fun foods" (like a little chocolate for those of us that REALLY believe we would die without it, LOL LOL LOL). It's going well so far, I've been on it since Monday and I'm down a pound. Also, I don't feel deprived and I'm happy (so far). With most diets, I'm ready to rip my hair out by Wednesday. :) :) :)

Let's see how it goes......
 
That sounds like a fun plan, Sonja! Where did you come across it? Is there a website with information for curious people like me? :)

Congrats on losing a pound already!!!!!! That is awesome! Glad you are being nicer to your hair! ;)

It's actually a book, but there's a site about it, too. Right here :)

As for being nice to my hair, I'm not so sure....... I actually singed it trying to light my fiance's gas log fireplace last Christmas, LOL!!!!!!!!! It's fine now. ;)

I was on the 10/90 plan before I started low carbing! By the way --- the 10/90 plan didn't work for me!;)

no misunderstanding please. I am not bashing Sonja's plan! I am saying that I was eating 10% healthy and 90% bad).:)
 
I love the way that you descibe your plan, Sonja! It sure gives you the lift with that "fun"! I guess that I do that, too, I just didn't know how to call the "not the best choice". Keep up the good work!
