Long Story Short: Going Oct 22. - Oct 26. Flight gets in at 12:30am on the 22nd and departs at noon on the 26th. 4 adults. 3 veterans, 1 newbie (my boyfriend).

Oct 22: Brown Derby Dinner

Oct 23: Todd English's bluezoo Dinner Chef's De France

Oct 24: Citrico's Dinner

Oct. 25: Universal

Oct. 26: Boma Breakfast (7:30am)

Reservations were extremely limited and none of these restaurants would be in my top 3 choices. I coordinated reservations to park days/locations and firework shows. Any thoughts on these places? I plan on checking everyday for other restaurant cancellations.

Unfortunately there’s such limited dining options is HS, we honestly prefer Star Wars and Toy Story lands quick service to all table service at HS.
Citrico’s should be a nice new experience since they just renovated to a Mary Poppins theme, and I’d highly suggest checking out Enchanted Rose lounge while you’re up there.
If you don’t like your dining options, I’d keep checking the app in order to modify, since reservation availability changes daily. You can also take advantage of walk-up times while in the park or resort.

Hey Ms. A, how’s life by you? Good to hear you are going back to the bubble.🙂

Dinner at Brown Derby sound like a nice choice for your first night with something for all in comfortable surroundings. It’s our regular place to eat at HS and I could happily live the rest of my life on the Cobb salad, beef carpaccio, and sea scallops.

bluezoo, we ate there….Christmas Eve, 2018. It was really packed and that might explain the quality of the service which was seriously lacking and colored the experience. Didn’t affect the food though which was phenomenal and explains why we will give it another try in the future. Cooking fish properly is hard to accomplish and I give them kudos for that.

Citerico’s is really an unknown for me as there is a new chef. Some of the menu items interest me so I’ll give it a try the next time we visit even though I don’t understand the Mary Poppin inspired decor.

Boma. We aren’t big breakfast eaters so never been but posters who have seem to give it great love.

Have fun out there!

Hi, everything is much better now. I've moved to VA and have a new job. I look forward to my short trip. My parents just moved down there.

A fan of Brown derby, never had a bad meal there.
Bluezoo, our meal was wonderful. Not a super busy night. a touch better than what Flying Fish used to be.
Citricos, wasn't a fan of it before, never bad, but never wowed. No clue since the remodel. Was very happy with Narcoossees in April.
Haven't been to Boma since reopening. If its as good as in the past, you should enjoy.

Brown Derby looks good, but I doubt my 13 yo son would find something there he likes....and the menu looks too limited to me. Since we bought Park Hopper, I actually told my wife I'd like to take the Skyliner to Epcot World Showcase and just eat quick service there for dinner. Many more options, and everyone can find something they like. Nothing at HS just looks that appealing.

All menus are limited it seems. Brown Derby was a surprise favorite for us. We couldn't get sci Fi so tried this. We will return.

This is one thing I've always wondered about the menus listed on Disney's web site....are they displaying the actual full menu with all the offerings, or just a sample menu? Seems like sometimes they have more stuff to order than what they display on the web site.

I think they are great choices. Brown Derby is arguably the best restaurant in DHS, bluezoo never disappoints and we just ate at Citricos a few nights ago and it was fantastic. I wouldn’t change anything

Brown Derby: Not a big fan of any food choices at DHS, but the Derby is the best choice. For me, it's ok. I much prefer to take the short walk or boat ride over to the Boardwalk and enjoy Yachtsman Steakhouse or Flying Fish (currently closed).

Todd English's Bluezoo: In my opinion one of the best restaurants in WDW. End of story!

Citrico's: Went there reluctantly a couple of years ago and left quite pleasantly surprised. Haven't been back since though. It's so hard to get ADR's anymore, but Narcoossee's is still my favorite at the GF.

Boma: Not a big buffet fan or a big breakfast fan. But Boma is pretty darn good. When I do a buffet Boma is one of the few on the list.

Yeah, Yachtsman Steakhouse was my #1 choice for this trip, but there's no reservations. Thanks for the input.

Before I would pay for a Disney steak at Yachtsman, our favorite steakhouse is Shula's at the Dolphin. You may be able to get a reservation on their website, don't go thru Disney.

Update: I managed to snag a Chef's De France reservation in lieu of Todd English's bluezoo. I'm much happier with this since we won't have to leave EPCOT and I know we'll get a great meal.

The website menus are the full menu. Limited options at the majority of in park restaurants.

I did Boma breakfast recently and it's excellent! Brown Derby is OK. Not so crazy about Citrico, and haven't been to Chefs de France.
