HI! I'm not sure I did the right thing. I had ressies for POP for memorial day weekend. I was waiting for either FL or AP rate. I have called several times and it sems they have no rooms available (FL rate came out yesterday:confused3 ) Well I could book CS for $3. more a night then I am paying for Pop. The only thing is I think the Food Court as CS is expensive compared to Pop, since you have to leave a tip. A really nice CM stated "Well you can purchase Free Dining its available for labor day weekend at CS." So the evil side of me said "What's a couple of $100. more go ahead bookit."

What's the problem? I have a set amount of money put aside for this trip. If I do free dining it's going to cost me atleast $300/ more. What should I do?
I need opinions and advise. Did I do the right thing.

Oh, I forgot to mention my girlfriend is coming w/her kids and she also thinks its a little to much money to spend for a 3 day trip.

Hi, I understand your dilema. Can't help with a decision, but just wanted to add that you can avoid the tip at CS by telling them at the start you want your food "To Go." That way you can eat it outside and save your tip money. :)

How much money did you put aside for dining? The dining plan offers a lot of food and to me I think its a good deal but if you did not plan on eating TS meals and your budget was a lot less then I say do the AP discount at CS and ask for your food " to go" or plan to have lunch more in the parks.

Personally I would do the plan as dining is a big part of my trip. I think I look forward to the food as much as anything else and the dining plan lets me eat whatever I want, I dont have to limit myslef to chicken because it is the cheapest thing.

THANKS, MISSMUN52 AND TINKERBELLMAGIC...After a long look at my finances I believe we can make it happen. I went over it with my girlfriend and we both decided it would be fun to eat in all the "fun reservations" We will be already saving about $85. because we had planned ot eat at Bomas.

The one thing I disliked last yr about CS was the wait for the food when we ate at their Cafeteria. I know now what to expect.

Thanks
