So I am going on June 25, 2012-July 1 at POFQ. I booked in March when there was no discount. Apparently now people can save 20% on these rooms?
Should I be really upset that I didn't get this discount or does this happen to people that they book and then Disney offers discounts. I don't go to Disney enough to know when the discounts are given so I just booked it when I found out I could go...

This was the very first first day AP discounts came out, so I just assumed they'd have AP rates available. Apparently no AP rooms were released at POFQ for the week I'm going to be there, but the site didn't tell me that. They just showed rooms for POFQ on the AP site at rack rate. I then checked at PORS and found a good AP rate for a courtyard view Princess room. After thinking about it for a few days, I went back to make sure it was still available, before calling to make the switch. It still showed on the AP site as a discounted room, but suddenly had went up in price by several hundred dollars. When checking on the regular WDW site, that price was rack rate. They had apparently sold out of the AP discounted rooms, but rooms were showing under the AP site at rack rate. Some room categories had sold completely out (even at rack rate), but others were showing at rack rate. You just had to know what rack rate was before checking, to know if the rate shown was an AP discounted room or if it was showing at rack rate under the AP discounted section.
