Did I dream this or is it real?

I think I remember watching Kelly Ripa host the Thanksgiving Day parade from Disney, but I can't find one thing on any such event...

Did I dream this? ... or is it real? I really can (in my head) clearly see a man in a navy short sleeve polo shirt holding his daughter on his shoulders and I remember thinking to myself "pack short sleeves and shorts in November."

If it is a real event, what is the deal with it? (to those who may have been there) Do we find out about it ahead of time or do we just show up to the MK on T'giving day?

I do remember her on Regis and Kelly saying something about being in the parade at WDW. I thought it was Christmas, though! But you are right that she was in a Disney parade on a holiday. Could have been T'giving or Christmas.

She has def. done the Christmas parade. In fact, if you go to www.badshoe.com you can see a picture of her shoes!

I was there during the taping 2 yrs ago in Dec and it was definately shorts weather...

The Christmas parade! Hmmm that "other" holiday with a parade. Is there a Thanksgiving Day parade? Anybody?

Our local TV station WPVI Philadelphia, has a big promo with WDW Boscov's thanksgiving day parade. They send a local family down to WDW and show them there....Also, Kelly Ripa and family spend their Thanksgiving in Philly, and this year I think she was part of the telecast..

I'm from Philly too! Perhaps that is why I remember Kelly Ripa from a parade on TV for Thanksgiving. However, the man in the navy polo and daughter must have been from the Christmas parade. Thanks for waking me up lol!
