In December, my DH and I decided to rent a car. We are going to do a few non-Disney things ( :guilty: :sad2: ) so thought a rental would be our best choice. We have never rented a car before, except once on business (company took care of everything).

Our dates are December 9-17, so 9 days. Pick up and drop off at MCO. I got a rate of $137.94 for an Intermediate through National (one driver). Is that a good rate? I have NO idea what a competitive rental car rate should be. I used a variety of codes from Mousesavers, and also different pickup/drop off locations, and that is the best I could get.

What do you rental car experts think?

If that includes your taxes and fees, it's a really excellent rate.

Even if it doesn't include everything, it's good.

Should have said that all things considered, for a week in an interrmediate or full size, usually anything all-inclusive under $200 is a pretty good deal. Lots of people here seem to be having great luck with rates right now because of ME, but in December, not as much. And that's a rate I'd love!

Good job, rental newbie! :flower:
