Did everyone get the letter stating the new hotels DVC points can be used for? I was wondering how to find out how points they take. If anyone knows please let me know. We were thinking of going to Atlantis. Thanks

I didn't get the letter, but I'm very interested in Atlantis. Something tells me this will be a very popular choice, if the points are reasonable. From what I understand from others who got the letter is that the points are not listed, right?

No point info yet. Atlantis and Washington would be great destinations is the points aren't outlandish.....

No, The points were not listed. I think all 4 of the hotels are a wonderful addition to DVC. I, too, am interest in seeing the points.

MS may have them, you could email or give a call. I think you ccan asume the points will be in the range of other options on the list.

My guesss would be in that Atlantis and Del Coranado will be imilar to Shutters with Atlantis haveing a high and a VERY high seasonal rate. I wouldn't be surprised to see certain room types top out at 100 plus points a night for Atlantis. I think you can get a pretty good idea of hte general costs by looking at the CC points for other similar locations. Don't forget, they will likely ALL have black out periods like Xmas for Atlantis.

Why do CC hotels for Vegas when you can still get great deals at top resorts there. The $49 per night at great hotels are harder to find but still available much of the time, especially weekdays. Search the internet and CA major newspapers for specials.

We haven't gotten this letter yet. DH and I have been to Atlantis, and it was awesome! We got a fantastic deal, since we got bumped up to the Royal Tower somehow, and then they gave us a Jr. Suite. We had booked through travelocity I think, and we were supposed to be in the lower-grade "Coral Tower". Anyways, I would ONLY stay in the Royal Tower at Atlantis. The Coral Tower and the Beach Tower just wouldn't be worth the points IMHO. Does anyone know the specifics of the Atlantis trades?

Also, food at Atlantis is crazy-expensive. That's worth considering if you might want to trade for this resort.

If they did vegas it would have to be one of the better hotels , I was there in april and stayed at the boardwalk for 69.00 a night.Maybe the Alladdin or the Belasio .

It was nice to see some new hotels on the list. But I was very suprised to see what was dropped.

The Del Coronado is the nicest hotel in the San Diego area. Combine it with a trip to Sea World, Animal Park, San Diego Zoo and you have a great vacation.

I got my letter here in CT yesterday.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could take the Disney cruise to the Atlantis, stay for a week there and take another cruise ship back home. Now that would be a great vacation. Peggie
