I've read about "early entry" and "extra magic hour." DW just showed me in the 2003 Birnbaum book that "early entry" was no longer offed to guests staying at WDW resorts. I assume this is outdated infomation. Anyone know the history and also the requirements for entering early? Thanks in advance.

Early entry disappeared very shortly after 9/11 and was replaced, (uneffectively according to some) by the Character Caravans at the resorts in the mornings. Many, many people complained, threatened not to stay on site, etc, and I guess it must have worked, because they started what they now call "Extra Magic Hour" last October, where one park per day will open one hour early to resort guests with multi day passes. The schedule is as follows:
Sunday--- Magic Kingdom
Monday--- Animal Kingdom
Tuesday--- Disney Studios (MGM)
Wednesday--- Epcot
Thursday--- Magic Kingdom
Friday--- Animal Kingdom
Saturday--- Disney Studios (MGM)

Hope this helps clear things up!:)
