I didn't have a TV in my bedroom, in fact the only TV was in the living room. :D

Nope! For a while, I didnt have a TV in my house. Now i think we have one in every room:p

There was always one in my sister's room, but I spent most of my time listening to the radio or my albums. My senior year in HS she took hers to college and my parents bought me a little 13" black and white set. I had it for years until I had trouble unloading it at a garage sale because no one uses black and white!
BTW my 3 kids don't have sets, although the 12 year old has asked about getting one. We have one in the family room, one in our room, and one in the basement.

No, my parents would not allow it. But when my brother came along a little later, they let him have one. I am not going to allow my kids to have them in their rooms. We purposely made their rooms small so they would come out of them sometimes. I hope it works.

I had one in my room. But I didn't get mine until I was a teenager. That's when MTV came on the air and my dad was not about to have the tv in the living room always on it. LOL!!!

Nope. No TV, no phone. I was lucky that I was allowed a radio. My mother was afraid she'd never see me if I had a TV in there.

I wasn't allowed to get a tv in my room until I was 15, working and could buy it for myself. I couldn't have a phone in my room until I was 16.

At home, we have a tv in the family room, the play room and the master bedroom. When we had the house built, we had cable & phone lines put into each bedroom for future use. I'm hoping I can have dd hold out until at least her teenage years for a tv and phone.

No way! We had one in the playroom, one downstairs, and one in M&D's room.

I can absolutely guarantee that my DD's will never have tv's in their room or computers for that matter.

No. And no child of mine will ever have one in their rooms if I have anything to say about it.

Yes, My sister and I shared a room until I was 15 and we got a tv in there probably when I was about 10(she was 14).

Nope. None of us did. We had 11 people sharing 1 TV. :p

I had a little black and white tv. It was red in color and I loved it. My DD has one in her room, but it isn't hooked up to our satellite, so she never turns it on.

My Father bought me a small black and white t.V. when I was 10. I was home with the flu and confined to bed and bored out of my mind! LOL

No. We always just had one - the big console in the living room. I got a little black and white for my dorm room my second year of college and thought it was just so cool to be able to flip on the TV whenever I wanted to. (Of course, we were in a high rise dorm with terrible reception.)

Nope, no TV for me. The only TV was in the living room. I didn't have a TV in my room until I was out on my own and married. When I was growing up I didn't even have a stereo. I had an alarm clock with a radio. I got my own phone line when I was 17 and I had to pay for it myself. My ds (almost 7) wants a TV in his room, but NO WAY---he would never sleep again. We are getting him a boom box for his birthday though.

We have a TV in our bedroom now, but rarely ever watch it. And In the living room the TV is always on cartoons, even if no one is watching. Right now Sesame Street is on and no one is watching.

I was given a TV when I was about 8 years old.

I bought myself a little black and white TV when I was 15. I saved my babysitting money to get it.
