Did anyone wear a 2-tier veil?

I've been wanting to get a 2-tier veil so I can wear the front over my face while walking down the aisle. Did anyone else do this? How did it affect your hairstyle? I have short hair and am going to get a hairpiece so I can have an "up do" (LOL), but it seems everyone else wore their veil under their "do"? Obviously I can't do that if I have a 2-tier, but I don't want to wear my hair down because it's short and thin, and I want nice hair on my wedding day.

Also, do you wear your veil to the reception?

I have long hair but I made a drop veil so that part of it would be a blusher for the ceremony. I used hat pins to secure it in my hair so I wouldn't have any issues with how my hairstyle would look. Are you having a hair trial at all? I would bring the veil with you so that your stylist can play around with it. Good Luck!

I will probably have a hair trial. I don't have a veil yet because I don't have my dress yet. I don't know if I am going to do a tiara with a veil. Can you do that with a two-tier veil? I am so clueless, LOL.
