This shows explains one of the reasons so many companies struggle these days. There is such a disconnect between management and employees. Management only see their employees as numbers and not people. It's not hard to cut employee number 55254 10% to make your goals, but it's harder to cut Bob who you actually interact with occasionally 10% and know the effect it will have on his family. Simply the rich get richer and poor get poorer.

Last fall-sept of 09-Frontier was purchased by Indiianapolis based Republic Airways which also owns Repulic Airlines and Midwest Airlines-the 10 percent cut was done before that buy out to keep the airline afloat and make it an attractive Merger partner so those people would keep jobs-the Undercover boss deal was Bedford taking alook at an operation he had just inherited. so no the Management team probably didnt take the 10 percent cute-since they had nothing to do with it. that house is not in Denver either-its in Indy. The decison was made to continue to operate Frontier under its brand name because there are alot of flyers in the rocky mountain west with loyalty to the brand-it was an excellent airline under the old management-ive only flown them once since the merger with republic and it was not a good experience.
