Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

Jessica was really good tonight, saved herself again!

As soon as Brandon forgot the words I knew he was gone, he definitely wasn't a good fit for the band but he's very good. I was surprised Susie was in the bottom 3, based on last night performances I would've put Jordis in there.

I really liked Brandon I know his voice wasn't right for INXS though, so I can't be upset with this decision. I also knew he was gone once he forgot the words. I'm sure (like the VERY sexy Dave Navarro said tonight) that he will get a job with another band.
Oh and Jessica has more lives than a cat!

I had read that the original ending date for this show is October 5th. That was before they axed two people in one show so I'm not sure if that is still the end date.

I read somewhere that the show is scheduled to end 2 weeks earlier than originally planned. The decision was made at the same time they decided to move the Monday night show to VH1

WooHoo.......so glad to see Brandon gone!! I guess I am a little of a minority here, but didn't care for him ~ he is a strange bean!

Also in the minoity here because I do like Jessica. While I know that her days are numbered, and know that she will not win ~ I do like to listen to her sing!!

Even though it wasn't one of her better performances....I still think Jordis is phenominal!!! She herself was not thrilled with her performance....she said she practiced it better than that. I still think it will come down to Jordis, Mig and Marty. I could take or leave Marty. I think he is okay....but he screams too much instead of sings?? But to be able to go accoustic ~ that rocks! It would be fun to see all of them do accoustic next week!

Would have liked to see JD stay in the bottom 3! Don't care for him either ~ his singing or his attitude.

Brandon was my second pick to go last night - Jessica was my first choice to go last night but she always seems to redeem herself with the INXS songs - good for her.

Forgetting the words to an INXS song in front of them = immediate dismissal, no excuse for that.

For a few seconds there I though the band was going to send both Jessica and Brandon home! I think they made the right choice though. While clearly talented in his own southern rock style, Brandon does not fit INXS's style. Jessica keeps singing her heart out with the INXS songs and putting on great performances so I think she deserves to still be there. I was disappointed they didn't ask Marty to do the encore.

Have to admit I liked JD's song much better than what the group came up with..........I thought it would hinder his chances since he wasn't a team player, but I think it worked to his advantage! I really don't think he should have been given a chance to sing his version since it was a team activiity, but it was good.

I think JD song was good but he's not a "team player" and it's become obvious. He didn't follow directions at all. I don't think they will pick someone to come into their band who won't take direction from the original members.

Okay, JD has to go. He may be a "musical genius" but it's obvious he will not work well in a band. He needs to be a solo artist, because he's too moody, temperamental and immature to front a band. I don't think INXS wants a lead singer who's going to pout and act juvenile every time he doesn't get his way.

Was anybody else when Marty got "Hit Me Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears? Can't wait to see that one!

It's official: I am calling myself a silly-nilly! I have been watching "Rock Star" on Tues and Wed nites for the past few weeks and I'm absolutely HOOKED! However, I ddidn't know it was on Sunday nites, too!

(BTW ~ my vote is for Jordis, but I LOVED the way Marty sang acapella (sp?) last week; it totally ROCKED!!)

Last week the canadian broadcaster still ran the Monday night show but this week it's not listed on the schedule. I don't have VH1 - can someone post a recap of the show PLEASE
