I have not seen any of the shows yet. So is Rachel actually still engaged to Joey or did they fix that yet?

it irritated me so much I did not even want to watch this year.

no they are no longer engaged....it was really stupid!! These past two episodes have got to be the slowest moving episodes of ALL time. its obvious they have NOTHING to write about anymore.

hmm thats hard to explain.... joey says he never proposed but ross is still mad that rachel said yes. but no i don't think they are still "engaged".

I agree these last two haven't been as funny... but I am really glad that they didn't make rachel stick thin again right after the baby.

I watched, and I thought last night was very funny! I can't believe that Ross kept getting hit, Especially the last time, during the credits! But, I do admit the Chandler story line was very lame and BORING!

I thought it was the funniest show that they've done in a LONG time. The bit about the gorilla... the quotation marks... Ross getting beaten up in the coffee shop... Phoebe with the baby... I was in stitches. The bit about Chandler was stupid, but the rest was funny. Even my DH who hates the show sat through it and was laughing out loud.

The thing I liked about it, too, is that Rachel still has a belly. So many shows have a delivery and then the mom is a size 1 with a flat stomach 10 minutes later.

I am glad they are past that. but now of course the whole season will be about when Ross will propose ????

thanks for the update;)

I thought last nights episode was one of the better ones I've seen in recent years.

Even when Friends is having a bad episode, its still one of the best written shows on TV, imo. Yes, I believe its run its course, but the actors are superb and the writing outstanding.

I was laughing so hard at the whole Ross-Joey fist fight. That is probably the hardest I have laughed at a TV show in quite a while. The look on Gunther's face just sent me ovet the edge. :)

I am a HUGE "Friends" fan, but I just don't know...

The Chandler thing was *STUPID* and unbelievable.

I was actually CHEERING when Joey kept hitting Ross. I used to like Ross, but that character has been reduced to a whiny, sniveling wimp. I LOVED Gunther's expression too.

I think I said it last week, but the cliff hanger thing is going to get old. They don't need a cliff hanger at the end of every episode. That turns it into a soap opera!!!!

I forgot to turn the tape on until about 8:10. Please tell me the good parts werent in the first 10 minutes.

I have to say the first episode of the season had me in stitches, when Monicas father was telling them how to conceive. :)

I read somewhere thatthere is going to be an episode where Monica gets offered the job of a lifetime and has to decide about Chandler's promotion to TUlsa.

i have always been a huge friends fan...and i thought that last night was really funny! i admit that ross is kind of whiny, etc, but i still like him and want him and rachel together. i hope they get together before the show ends!! you can tell that ross still loves rachel...especially when he was talking to joey about being "friends who have a baby"...

i, for one, like the show and wish that it wouldn't end!! all of the good shows have left or are leaving and i'm not looking forward to next year...
