They were a three man act on Britain's Got Talent. I was bored tonight and started watching a bunch of clips from this year's show and ran across them.

Clearly done with a great deal of tongue in cheek (has anyone else noticed we as a community are very good with tongues and cheeks ).

Wicked tongue in cheek. Stereotypical British humor, eh? I don't know what was funnier, their act or the judges facial expressions.

I give them tons of credit for being so self assured that they could come up with the act, and the name of the act and then go on national television (which in this day and age is international).

What I saw was very spirited can-can -- aprons/ruffles/and Tesco manties -- no wardrobe malfunctions (not that there appeared to be much room for error)

Very cute and fun. I'm not sure I would call them 'talented' but very entertaining. I'm sure they have performed for a few queens.

and yes... Manties are indeed man-panties (one of our dear departed former mods used the term one time here and I immediately claimed it for my own -- comes in handy round my house "don'tcha be gittin' yer manties in a wad, Mr. Chuck/Tuck/Stuie") and in the interest in clarity of intercultural communication, I cited Tesco rather than Walmart...
