I watched it and was eating peanuts when it started. I stopped eating really quickly. I couldn't believe the storyline.

I saw the last 5 to 10 minutes of it and was totally disgusted. I asked my DH, "So why is this show so popular? Aren't kids still watching tv at this time of night?" (it airs at 8:00 CST in Houston)
Very inappropriate for the time slot and not appealing to me.

My DH and I really love CSI and their story lines but after last night DH turned to me and said "they're getting a little to graphic and steamy for my taste". I have to agree. Hope it doesn't continue down this all to well known path.

I was on the phone so I only caught bits and pieces. The guy and his new wife were murdered, right? And the high school girl was attacked because of a drug induced frenzy? Like I said, not to sure what happened.

I thought it was an excellent episode. And a very effective anti- drug message IMHO

I'm with markshaw! My DH and I often watch this show and we like the interesting stories and characters. But it really is turning me off to make it so graphic and gory that I have to turn my head away from the screen !!!! I think they crossed the line last night. If it continues in this direction, we'll be heading in another direction.

Jenn, I agree that it was an excellent anti-drug message but it was also a little too gory for my tastes.

It's an excellent show, it can be a bit graphic at times, I would suggest NOT letting your children watch. You have to control the remote.

I thought last weeks was more gross than this week.

I, too, was grossed out last night. I hope they just were trying to jam a anti-drug message out. If this becomes the norm, I'll be going to bed after survivor!

I love CSI.....and I missed it!!
My satellite antenna went off track and I couldn't get it fixed in time (because I don't know how and had to wait for DH and he had a dinner meeting :().

Have to wait for that one to rerun!

I was a bit disappointed in last nights show. A little too graphic and a little farfetched.

Having seen actual PCP overdoses where people have actually dislocated their own joints trying to escape from restraints, and have litterally bitten through their own tounge, the story line is not that farfetched. You should see what some human beings do to one another even when they are not on pcp. As far as the other murders that wasn't that unbelievable to me.
As for the graphic nature of the show, it does not seem to be much worse than the first year. I also don't think it is a show for small children. They are dealing with dead bodies and sometimes that isn't pretty.

Just be glad it isn't smellivision

Dh and I love this program but last night we were watching a production of Les Miserables at the Wharton Center and we missed it.

Some one pm me and tell me why it was so objectionable to some people? Please?

My sister in law is a real life CSI-the stuff on the show does not even touch the stuff she sees on a day to day basis!

I love this show however last night was too over the top, I could not shake the image that I saw....I actually thought about it today driving down the road and almost got sick again.yuk

I looooooove this show, never miss it and neither does DH. It's always been a show that is more graphic and others, so last night wasn't a huge surprise to me. True, it was *icky*, bit nothing that in reality couldn't happen. I am a little sorry I was still nibbling on late night dinner when it came on-lol

I like forensics and pathology, so the graphic stuff doesnt bother me. I'm tuned into CourtTV half the time because they have the real stuff!

They did have a "Warning graphic scenes/not intended for younger viewers" thing right before the show was aired.:o Next time, heed the warning.
