Did anyone get/give a 20Q as a gift???

DD11 got one to give to her friend for her birthday a few months ago and we played with it a little before wrapping it, we were hooked. We got one for DD for Christmas and it was played with constantly yesterday, we were only able to stump it a few times. It even guessed Jack Russell Terrier! How on Earth I will never know, but it guessed it.

I got my second one. My first got messed up somehow last summer. The display band stayed solid red so you couldn't read the questions. I love that thing. My mom and dad were pretty amazed by it too.

I gave 5 as gifts- I had to buy 5 (At my Walmart they have a contest between depts where each dept chooses a special item to promote- This month the Toy depts was 20Q- though we sold over 1500 since Dec 1 we got our tush kicked by Sporting Goods and the shake and go flashlight...)

We also got one, you should check out 20Q.net it is a bit differnt than the hand held game.

OOOHH! Cool I will check it out. I got the hand held one last year after a friend showed it to me. The thing is erie sometimes. For those out there who snub their nose at it saying you can beat it, of course you can. It is only as good as you answer its questions. I find if you read into the questions too much you can always stump it. For example if I am thinking of a an egg and it asks "do you find it on a desk" the answer is no. Of couse I can put my lunch on my desk, and it migh have an egg in it...but I believe the desk questions are more geared for stapler, computer, adding machine etc....Is is after all just a game. It's not really psychic. Now the Magic 8 Ball, well that is a different story.....LOL!

DH was playing with one that belonged to a guy he works with and was raving about it. I had never heard of it, but went out and got one for him for xmas...it was the hit of the day yesterday. Even my mother and MIL were hooked on it. I wish I had bought more to give out to everyone! DD8 used it and it guessed what she was thinking of ~ "poop"

i tired poop too. it guessed it for me.

my cousin and i both got them yesterday. he went straight to his room with his, everyone played mine, and my granpa stole it this morning and i haven't seen it since. my mom was thinking of our cat henry (he black) and it guessed a black cat! it never even asked if he was black!

We tried vomit, it got that-it was funny, after the 15th question or so when it says something like "you have to try harder then that" or what ever it said "I can't believe you are think of THAT". I tried Champagne and it came up with wine, so that was pretty close. I stumped it a couple times and so did DH but it gets us more then we get it. It is amazing. I wonder how it works?

Well, we gave 5 of them as gifts this year. They seemed to be pretty popular.

My BIL thought of a dalmation, and it guessed rottweiler and german sheppherd, which is pretty darn close, if you ask me.

DD got one for my SIL and it was the hit of the day. It was in constant use.

I went to Filene's today and they had them on clearance for $14.99 so I bought two more. One for us, one for my nephew who got hooked on it.

BTW, it guessed "Mickey Mouse" for me.

I love this one! It could not get Tinkerbelle (I would have settled for fairy) for me.

We got two...a handheld and the big one. We've stumped it a few times (mint leaves, shampoo, yorkies, etc.), but for the most part it has guessed some of our other obscure items. It is a pretty neat thing!

Dd (15) got one from my niece. We had a blast at the family Christmas party. I was able to stump it with Christmas tree of all things!

It guessed Christmas tree for us but I stumped it with "hamburger" (happened to be playing it while waiting for one in Applebee's )...it guessed "cookie" and something else that was wrong (can't remember). DH was trying to get it to guess "soldering iron" and it guessed "scalpel" and "stethoscope".....

Ds got the handheld one from Santa. It is pretty amazing! I've stumped it a few times, but when it does guess it is neat. It's gotten Game Boy, Vodka, a can of beer, poop...very fun for the few dollars Santa spent!

DD25 got one from her bf. Just bought one for DD11 yesterday. I have been playing with it more than her.

I bought one for DH after I caught him playing with one in a store. He loves it.

My MIL got one for my Niece (8). I don't know if she liked it, there were too many other things around for her to play with.

The adults had pretty much fun with it though. Two that I remember it guessing correctly were cookie and booger.

I just bought one for my 12yo nephew. I buy his 3yo and 2yo siblings clothes all the time, but have no idea what to get him when I visit. I hope he likes it!!

We got DS11 one, it's a blast. DS had it guess fart and the it got it right.

I love this thing--it is totally addictive. DD got it in her stocking but I am playing it too. She took it in the car shopping on Monday and had it in her pocket at one of the stores. The line was taking forever and she sat down on the floor and played it. People were cracking up, but there was not one word of complaint for the 20 min we spent in line. (With TWO people ahead of us.)
