Did anyone get a Pin Today?

The pin I got was buy 3 nights at a deluxe w/park tickets get a 4th night free plus a 300$ gift card. The dates were late august thru I think mid November. But it expires in about 2 weeks. It said to call to receive moderate or value offers.

I finally got a pin after saving some information i put in probably a month ago. It was however for the time Im not going actually until the day before we arrive. darn it!. We have bounceback free dining for August, but then my older daughter wanted to join us with her friend and stay in another hotel. I was hoping to get some kind of discount for them.

Are you SURE your pin does not allow another room at SAME discount. I HAVE done that in past for family

The 5 days/5 nights is a minimum stay, you get the free dining for the entire stay above the minimum nights.

Now how long do I have to book this? Can I book next month, will it still be valid?
We just had to spend over $1000 to get our car fixed, so I am waiting for the smoke to clear, I may get killed if I book the vacation right at this moment. Even though we would have til late June to pay it off.

I decided to try calling to see if there was a pin code attached to my name. The very nice castmember didn't have a problem at all looking for me. While he was looking, I said something about hearing lots of folks were getting different pins. He said "yes m'am, there are lots of them going out". Unfortunately, there was no pin code attached to my name but he did suggest I try back in a day or two.

So my bff called this morning and inquired if he had any pins attached to his name. The cast member said no but then inquired about travel dates. We are planning on Oct. 16-23. Then the CM noticed we are from MA and made a comment about being a Red Sox fan. The CM said something about hold on, let me check on a few things. Next thing we know, the CM tells him that he can get 30-40% off room rates!!!! He wasn't very forthcoming about the details and my bff didn't ask. He ran a quote for him and we will save a decent amount. The reservation is being held and we will probably book tomorrow. I am now even more excited than I was before!

I just got a pin today for 40% deluxe resorts and 45% deluxe villas from august 15 thru december 18 exluding the week of thanksgiving. I must reserved until october 9th.

Imagine i just book my stay for next may with my 42 % florida residet discount and now a 40% for next semester!!!!

Can someone explain to me about the FL resident discount of 42%? Is that standard for all the times? I am a FL resident and an AL passholder and I want to try and stay in a deluxe this fall for the kids and need all the discount codes I can use. Also what about Law Enforcement discounts? Thanks. BTW, I have ot gotte any pins.

Pin codes are savings offers that are only valid for the person who receives them. Sometimes they are room-only offers or room and tix or room and dining or gift cards. Most people receive these via e-mail.

Ways to increase your chances of receiving a pin (code):

~Register on the WDW website

~Save a "resort offer" while you are on the WDW reservations page (this is working really well for many people since November).

~Order a free DVD

General public codes are savings offers valid for everyone or a stated group, such as military or FL resident. These codes can be found at www.mousesavers.com and also on the DIS.

Has anyone from Canada received a pin? I'm wondering if there is some kind of geographic focus to all of this mouse-business!!

Nope....not geography! I am in a far away portion of Canada and I get my share of PINs

I do save offers and sign up for e-mails/planning videos though. Good Luck!

I got the pin for the 4th night free with a $300 gift card for Deluxe 8/2010 to Oct. 2, 2010. I called and asked about the free dining code and she said attached to my name was a choose your own ending which let me pick the 4th night free, free dining, or a free ticket upgrade. We went with the free dining and got Carribean Beach (our first time staying there)! This is only my second pin ever and just started getting them about a month ago. So here is hoping others get one too!!
