Did anyone get a Pin Today?

This is my first post. I've only been a reader for awhile. I read someone's suggestion to save an offer on-line of what you would like and you might get a pin code sent to you that would help. So I did that. I left the window open and went back to the DISboards. I forgot about it and when I went back to it I got the message my session timed out because of inactivity. I tried to close out of it and a window popped up and asked me why I didn't book during my on-line session. It gave me several choices, one of them being not a good deal. So I selected that. It then showed me offers for 750.00 GC for 5 + nights and up to 40 % off deluxe. Just FYI.

Just called and got the PIN. It was for a package stay. The weird thing is VERY weird. It would be for 8 nights at POP century 7/28/10 - 8/5/10 9 day Park Hopper and Waterpark and more. Well, she quoted me $3,351.50 with dining and insurance. When I ran the numbers on the Disney site, it gave me $3,340.01 without insurance. Well, to me that is not a discount

She did say that Dining is not out yet, yeah right. Maybe I will call this afternoon with different dates

I ran into the same problem, the quote I got on the phone was more than the quote I got myself online.......... I dont get it

I got three different PINS in three different email accounts. One was the free quick dining at the values, one was free park hopper and more option, and one was for regular free dining or quick depending on the level of resort choice all starting 8/15. We really wanted to go the week before that since DH goes back to school on the 23. We might have to do a split stay. I hope something else comes out.

I think the week of the 15th will be very busy!!

Shoot! I didn't get anything yesterday! I have my fingers crossed everyday all day for free dining! We'll just have to wait and see!

Well, I got a PIN code that was good for Oct - Dec 2009, our trip was scheduled for Jan 30-Feb 6 2010 & now I just got one for May-Aug!

Why can't I get one when I'm actually going??

10 YEARS Ive been going, I get a PIN today, For Quick Service Free Dining, I already have Booked the Full Service Free Dining, I do have 4 nights at the beach club room only and soo Badly wanted 40% off,

I wonder why I got a Pin for free dining quick service, Will they not be offereing Full service Dining For Free this year?

I haven't read ahead to see what others had to say, but did you see if you could upgrade the QSDP to the DDP for the price difference of the two plans? Last year during the Nov/Dec free dining (when you got the QSDP at the values) guests were allowed to upgrade to the DDP for about $10/adult & $2/kid (whatever the price difference is).

Okay, I read through the entire thread. I see a LOT of people got a code that is not for their dates (the ones saved on the website). All of my offers were for the 8/15- when all of the same packages I have saved were for the week before that. Why in the world didn't they send me the Summer dates PIN instead.

Well, I got a PIN for the free quick service August-October. Totally not dates that will work for me! I'm looking for late May/early June.

Free quick service for 5 nts or more at a value

Dates: 8/15-10/2

We already booked a better deal with bounceback so we won't be using it, but I was still excited to get a code at all!

Anybody else worried that they may not be offering regular dining at the values anymore???

At times while staying at WDW onsite, an offer is in the room to return with some type of offer. During Free DIning, it's usually a free dining offer for the next year. The rest of the year usually has a room discount offered for a future stay. You do have to book while at the resort.

aha... thank you... we did have an offer like that in our room last trip (oct 2009); but when I inquired the price was more than what I paid for the trip I was on. Lots more... so I declined. Maybe I should let my DH handle this stuff, could I be missing something or adding wrong?

I finally got my 1st pin today-20/30/40 with various dates starting this week thru Dec 16th. Great for our dates in Aug/Sept at WL But I need to see if free dining would be better for a family of 3.

Soooo jealous! This is the pin I'm looking for. The email we got last month has dates only through June.

Should I call to see if the pin with dates through December is "attached" to our names?

Sounds like Disney are offering lots of Pins right now... Part of me is glad that I'm in the UK and got offerent free DDP and 47% off SSR just by being from the UK... WOOHOOO!!

I don't know if I could have coped with the stress of getting or not getting a pin.

I'm sending some pixie dust to those who are still waiting for their magic pin =)

The pin I got was buy 3 nights at a deluxe w/park tickets get a 4th night free plus a 300$ gift card. The dates were late august thru I think mid November. But it expires in about 2 weeks. It said to call to receive moderate or value offers.

I just got a pin today for 40% deluxe resorts and 45% deluxe villas from august 15 thru december 18 exluding the week of thanksgiving. I must reserved until october 9th.

Imagine i just book my stay for next may with my 42 % florida residet discount and now a 40% for next semester!!!!
