Did Anyone Get a Deal this Morning?

Okay, I don't mind waiting but this is so random.:coffee: need more coffee! I'm trying the phone again.
sorry, hand shaking, no co-ordination without caffeine, hit enter button twice. oopsy!

Why aren't they putting it up on the website....still not showing the spd offer....driving me nuts and it way to early for that.

On hold for the second time this morning. Crossing fingers that the system is back up. Why can't both offers be online? :sad2:

Hold time for me was 3 to 5 minutes.

I got 8 nights preferred room at All Star Movies for 2 adults and 11 yo with Quick Service DP and park hopper tickets and trip insurance ($75.99 per adult) for $2,429.77.

There are a lot of people that probably know about the offer, from internet, travel agents, word of mouth, etc. But think of the people that don't know about it~ I think there will be plenty of reservations to go around, but I always think about the people who have no idea about the discounts because they're not put up at the same time as they are available. :sad2:

Currently on hold also, but was advised of a 25 minute wait. Hope it is worth it.

I'm calling back too. They just emailed me the offer and it's MUCH cheaper, but my kids aren't on there!!!!

Now if the phone gods will just make magic for me too!pixiedust: They said my wait time would be 7 mins over 14 mins ago.

I got a deal...but now there's soemthing screwy going on. I upgraded from Coronado Springs(Water View-King) to Animal Kingdom Lodge(Pool View). The thing that's wrong is that the price that shows online is $150 less than what the cast member on the phone told me the price was for the same package with the same components (tickets w/ park hopper and dining)...I hope to straighten thing out later today.

Call back and make sure that your park admissions don't have the opition of no expiration on them. This happened to us once ,and it increased the package price because of the non-expiring admission opition , which was not requested by us.

In case anyone cares... they quoted me $3046 for POFQ and $3046 for Caribbean Beach. Said only had jr. suites at Coronado.

I just ran a quote on my own through the site...I don't think that's it...not big enough of a difference to be caused by the non-expiration option. I'm thinking it might be the CM could have used a different discount code because she didn't specifiy which code she was using. :coffee:

Got it...RO 2 adults, 8 nights All Star Music Jan 8-16 $640. Only needed a $72 deposit, balance due upon arrival.

Booked online; at one point it did tell me the system was down but I kept at it!!

Thanks to all of you for the heads up on this great offer! :cheer2:

Good luck to everyone!

sorry, edited because I had my original numbers too high...got RO for 8 nights ASMu for $640 with a deposit of $72

Calling again now and it estimates the wait to be less than 11 minutes. I tried to book online and it looks like it would go through (I stopped before finalizing because I already have a reservation). The CM I spoke to earlier said that when that happens, it means their system is back up.

Here's hoping!!!:goodvibes

Okay, been on hold while the CM tries to add the discount to my previous reservation. Seems like she is having trouble finding the discount, any tips?

I just got off. I got right through. I had to add our dining plan as I was hoping for Free dining. So now with our dining plus 8 nights 9 days with 6 park passes at POP It is $2791 and change.

I miss free dining. Last year we had 6 nights 7 days, 5 park days and dining plus and it cost us 1800. So this is abit more than I wanted to pay, but what do you do.

I want to price it out and see if staying at a moderate would be the same or cheaper.

Ask her to apply code Q69 for the s/p/d discount (the resort discount code is Z3K) If one or neither of these work you'll have to call back til you get a CM that knows what is going on - unfortunately Disney is very inconsistent with it's CM updates:rolleyes2

I'm on the phone with a CM right now and it seems to be working. My package (14 nights at POR with 10 day PH and dining) went from $6907 to $5632. Feeling kind of 'meh' about it.
