Did Anyone Else Watch the Webcast? Any deals by calling?

I watched the new Samantha Brown webcast (not bad) and noted a couple of the offers before people came into my office and distracted me..I noticed they really only listed offers for Aulani and AKV (was BLT in there?) But didn't call to hear of any other offers for any other resorts..did anyone? I am wondering if there are any specials at all at VGC, and if not is the direct buy price really at the outrageous $130 mark?

To my knowledge DVD is officially only selling AKV and Aulani. Of course the other resorts are available but they don't advertise them and I would guess that the Guides are told what to push. They might get a higher commission for selling the official proprieties.

The brochure link my guide sent did not contain any deals on VGC but I do not know if other brochures exist for other owners. Mine included my home resort SSR but there was no additional deal.

It seems the new deal is the cruise for 200 points. In addition there is the 20th anniversary deal they already announced.

Was anyone else as disappointed in the new deal as I was? The ads tooted that special new offers would be announced. Actually, here's the copy:
"As part of this Disney Vacation Club event, you'll even be able to
take advantage of special Add On offers created exclusively for
this webcast."
I own at AKV and would like to add on (directly) but a cruise in January won't push me over the edge to buy. Sometime I wonder who Disney is marketing to?

I didn't even consider the deal - 200 pts @AKV for a 3 night cruise in January isn't worth it for us. I am watching to see if anyone posts that they bought into the offer though.

I agree that the 20th anniversary deal is better.
I almost like the fixed cruise date idea(better than buying then having trouble finding an available date)
Now if the webcast allowed a half- anniversary deal (10 free points with 50) I'd be more interested.

Marketing wise, there must of been a time conflict between the webcast with the Fantasy and 20th anniversary. And the 20th "won"
