Just thinking back on our recent trip to WDW and recall that we saw several helicopters flying over whatever park we happened to be in every day we were there.

The helicopters were most noticable at TL on Saturday, April 19th (probably because I spent alot of time on Castaway Creek looking up!)

And I thought WDW was a "no-fly zone" Anybody know what was up?

I noticed them when we were there the week of March 23rd, especially at TL. I was wondering the same thing about the no-fly zone.

Nope, not military. The ones we saw were a dark color with bright stripes and red with white stripes. They looked more like traffic helicopters....hmm, it did get congested in Castaway Creek!

There are several commercial places in Kissimmee that offer helicopter rides. I have no idea how much it costs. They were very noticeable everyday Easter week.

Nascar Drivers, they fly in helicopters. I heard a bunch of them were there over Easter. I just speculating!:bounce:
I saw them too over Easter vacation and didn't even know there was a no fly zone.

On I-Drive there is a place that gives helicopter rides...the sign says starting at $15.00. Unsure of the actual price but they do have a red one and a blue one. I believe part of their route is over Disney.

Last year when we went to Disney we did the helicopter tour over Disney. So this could be one of them.

I thought the no fly zone was lifted off?
