Did any other Canadians NOT get a PIN?

No pin here either..... ever...... and I've gone many times over the years.
I've often wondered though, If I've deleted any without knowing. :rolleyes1
Are the PIN codes obvious or are they little one line sentances in the middle of emails?

Oh well, at least I know it's not just me....:rotfl:

The difference between a regular Disney email and a code seems to be that the codes are always in an email from "Disney Destinations".

Maybe this is answered amongst the many posts but what is the PIN and how do you qualify for one???

Pins and codes are simply an invention of the biased media! Also, possibly, the work of the Stone Masons... or elves.

I'll believe in 'em when I see one.

No PIN for me either :sad2: and if I got one, it would be trip number 30 for me, so I'm kinda feeling like I "deserve" one. ;) :lmao:

None here, either. I must be on every Disney list there is, got the planning DVD, etc. But we only took our first trip this last March/April, so maybe you need a longer travel history with them?

One of life's mysteries.:)

We took our first trip this past April...then on Oct 27 I received the 40% off PIN from Disney Destinations for certain 2009 dates. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason at all to who gets the PIN's.:confused3

Wouldn't a Cdn at Par -with free dining be nice right about now

When we went in September we paid for the trip and bought our US$ at par. It was a treat!!

We have already postponed a Girls Trip to Vegas because of the $ - it is just not the same when it is 1.21 or whatever it is today.

Still no pin for me (the OP here). I have DH scouring his email address too. I think if there is another wave of pins I may call again. I am hoping they just forgot to send it to me and there really is a PIN on my name :wizard:

:rotfl2: I did not receive a 40% discount offer and we've been pouring money into Disney and Disney Cruiseline since '98 annually.

Here's the kicker for us. Next summer, we convinced our friends, who have NEVER been to Disney to try a Land and Sea package and they are coming with us. We are thrilled because they are the nicest people and our daughters have been friends since kindergarten.

Our friends, however, DID get the pin offer and it was so good they booked their land stay with it instead of with the cruiseline.

The good thing is that since we're travelling together they can book the offer for us as well.

So now, everyone is happy again, with some money saved.:flower3:

Still waiting for my first "PIN" (after 16 trips and 1 coming up at end of November, I would like to think that Disney could offer me something :confused3 )

None for me either, we are planning on going end of January, here's hoping for a GP code soon!

Technically, I've never received one either. My DF got one for the first time in October. I'm assuming it's because the reservations are always in my name and he's never booked a Disney trip before

I got my first email from Disney Destinations today. As others have said it was in my junk mail.

I opened it, as my heart pounded with excitement, hoping for the PIN with the same dates as previously posted.

My hands were sweating...

I could feel my throat swell up...

It was slow to open...

And, when it did it was...

An Advertisement for Adventures By Disney!! I almost cried!! How could they tease me like this!!!

Oh, well, at least I know I am on their mailing list.

My TA tried for us but she wasn't able to get anything for us. I suspect it's because we're staying over MLK weekend.

Funny-so are we and we saved $700 by rebooking.

Nice! She said she would keep checking for us in case more rooms were added to the inventory. For now, I'm happy that we have the AP discount. It's better than the AAA discount.

was the bounceback deal for??

I got Free Dining Bounceback when I was there for Free Dining in September. The offer was for Sept 2009. We booked it, but are not 100% happy with the time of year as DD will just start Kindegarden a few weeks before we leave. We would rather November.

I also booked the 4 + 3 deal last week, thinking WOW!! What a great deal!! But when we crunched the numbers, the Free Dining was much better, so we are sticking with that for now.

I can't complain, free dining is AWESOME!! Just the 3rd week of September is not an ideal time for us to go this time.

Would October be better for you?

You could change your Bounceback to October as long as you check in by the 2nd.
