Can someone tell me the best way to take and change diapers while at the parks?

I became best friends with the baby centers! They have the best changing tables, etc!

The baby changing centers are awesome. The restrooms have places to change diapers as well.

We put diapers in a gallon-sized ziploc, wipes in a quart-sized ziploc & disposable changing pads in a quart-sized ziploc and placed the ziplocs in a backpack. We also had a bag attached to our stroller where we kept a few of each item. The stroller bag made it easy to just grab what we needed without digging through a backpack. Every now and then, we'd replace what we used in the stroller bag from the extras in the backpack.

We used both restroom and baby center changing areas. I would highly recommend using disposable changing pads in the regular restrooms since WDW doesn't provide them...they only provide changing pad "covers" in the baby care centers.

The baby care centers are wonderful and we used them often, but sometimes, you just can't get to one easily.

The baby centres are great but we wouldn't make a special trip to use them as the change tables in the main toilets are fine. Don't over pack nappy things. I took only the number I needed for the day and maybe plus 1 or 2. There are nappies for sale if needed in the parks (single ones). I used a travel size pack of wipes, small travel size cream and a few nappy bags. I also used a travel change mat which folded up flat into a mesh pocket in my backpack. At the start of the day I packed a nappy, cream, and wipe packet into one of the plastic bags and put it in the mesh pocket next to the change mat. I could then grab everything in one go. When I had finished the change I would pack the next bag ready.

Please don't use the tables in the food courts....:confused3 actually saw this on our first trip to Disney!!

All the Mens Rooms have changing tables, too.

My Disney trip was blissfully diaper free as Daddy agreed to change all the diapers. That was almost better than the Disney part of the vacation!

I might be in the minority, but I only used the diaper changing tables when my DD did a #2. I was too worried about the germs and having to wipe the table down each time. I just wheeled my big 'ol graco into the bathroom and changed her in her stroller. That way I wasn't concerned about her touching everything and getting sick. BUT, the bathrooms do have great changing tables that are quite big, and plenty of room.

Also depending on the age of you child, you can often change a child standing up. DGS 2 hates to lay on those table so we have been changing him mostly standing up for over a year. Of couse sometimes a BM requires laying down but I have even done a few of those stanging up:dance3:. WDW bathrooms are clean and changing tables are cleaner than most.

We use the disposable changing pads and we make sure to wipe DD's hands with at least a wipe (if not a wet papertowel with soap) after every change to avoid as many germs as possible. I did see plenty of moms put their child on the changing tables with nothing underneath and without cleaning them after they just saw another child being changed with no changing pad. I don't know how they did it. I certainly couldn't do it! The YUCK factor is just too much for me.

I also used ziplocs. I packed about 6 diapers in a gallon ziploc. I had a smaller ziploc with wipes. And just threw those in the backpack. Just remember to refill each day before you head out to the parks.

Where are these Baby Centers.. This will be our first trip dealing with diapers unless god help me and my daughter is potty trained by July!
