Diaper Rash Cream?

Once again thanks everyone!

I bought some Desitin and some Butt paste and boy is that paste stinky!!! hahaha!!

Is the Butt paste a brownish color? I ask because I swore by Flanders and would have bought it by the vat load if it came that way. My DD has horrible diaper rashes and we used it more times than I care to remember. Anyway if it is the brownish color like the Flanders, it may take the color out of any clothing or other fabric item it touches. I found this out the hard way.

I didn't read the responses, but the ONLY thing that worked for my son's constant diaper rash 16 years ago was Baby Gold Bond Powder. Nothing else worked...nothing.

Yes it is the brownish colored one. Thanks for the heads up! I have a pair of track pants on him, since we are staying in today

If it doesn't go away call your pediatrician. DD had a rash once that wouldn't go away with any cream I tried.

Ended up it was a yeast infection. Its a perfect environment for one to grow, warm and moist. The pediatrician, prescribed a medication for her butt, took it away in 2 days.

we've already called the ped. but as he usually gets rashes this bad, he told me to wait it out a bit, esp since DS is not in any discomfort, just red in the bottom

I used Aquaphor on my daughter. It was the only thing that worked for me.

Aquaphor is even good for chapped lips.
