Rehearsal day!!!!
Well, the day started out with Andrew waking up very early for his wedding present.

I forgot to tell you guys that I told him what his gift was the night before. If I hadn’t, he would have never woken up in time. Lol… anyway, I bought him the Rookie driving experience at the Richard Petty Driving Experience track in WDW. He’s a stunt man but hasn’t made it to CA for the stunt driving training yet. I knew he loves to drive fast

and I knew that, at least here, he’d be safe. I had told my brother I was buying that for Andrew and so he decided to go also. My mom bought it for him for his Christmas present. I had planned on going, but Andrew told me since they were supposed to be there from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. that I could just come by around 11 or so and watch them drive then. They had to check in at 7:30 a.m. so Andrew drove over to the Boardwalk to pick up my brother. My folks ended up driving over right after them so they could take pics and video of everything.
I stayed in bed for a while and then woke up, got some breakfast, because the baby wouldn’t let me get away with eating a small snack in the room… ugh…

so I went down to the big hall in the Port Orleans Riverside and got me some French toast. Yummmmmmmmm….. what a relief. So much better than the French toast I had at Denny’s. I had some fresh fruit to go with it too. Sooooo good!!! Now, I remember that I had things to get done that morning, but to be honest, that was a month ago and I’ve noticed lately, that I can barely remember what happened yesterday… pregnancy is doing weird things to my mind… what I do remember is finishing my breakfast and getting a text message from Andrew saying he drove fast!!! I was upset I didn’t get to see him but I knew my mom and dad were clicking away with the camera. Plus, Andrew is such a vivid storyteller, that I would probably get a better play by play from him and my brother than I would have if I sat in the bleachers and watched. Here are some of the pics we have from that morning:

I honestly can’t remember what filled my time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. when I decided to get ready for the rehearsal… but I do remember Andrew, Selena and I were getting ready in the room. I had put together all the bridesmaids bags a couple of days before, so we grabbed all those and the last minute things we had forgotten to give Marion the other day and headed over to the Boardwalk. We went up to Mom & Dad’s room and then back down to the lobby. When we got there, we met up with Carrie and her husband Steve and my brother Mike and his wife (my other BM) Penny. So, we all started walking down to the rehearsal at Sea Breeze Pointe. As we were passing the bakery on the boardwalk, I noticed my friend Judy sitting there. Judy read my favorite bible passage, I Corinthians: 13. So, she was coming to the rehearsal too. She had come over with her sister and they were grabbing a quick snack.

She offered me a bite and of course, I said yes. It was some sort of apple thing. So good. Well, we walk over to SBP and there was Marion and our Pastor. Within 5 minutes, everyone who was a part of the wedding was there. Marion started telling us how it would all work. My dad practiced walking me up and handing me over to Andrew. So, he says, “Here she is. She’s all yours. Take her.” So, we started cracking up.

Then Pastor Scott starts going over the basics of what he’s going to say. When he gets to the exchange of the rings, this is what he tells Andrew to say to me, “Here’s the ring. I hope you like it. It’s all I could get.” We were laughing so hard.

We were both like, “That’s perfect!! Say that tomorrow!!” Anyway, the rehearsal goes well and it went by quickly. Penny, my SIL, was a bit nervous that she wouldn’t know when to walk up or walk out but Marion told her that she would tell her when to do everything and not to worry about it. She told her to go enjoy herself at the rehearsal dinner and she would see us tomorrow.
Well, we had about an hour before our reservations, so we figured we’d head over there anyway. By the time we got there, parked and headed upstairs to O’Hana’s, I had to go to the bathroom. That is the story of my life. Andrew kept making fun of me because I have to go like every 2 hours, whether I drink a lot or not. This baby must be jumping up and down on my bladder….

Anyway, we go into the bathroom and I’m standing at the sinks washing my hands when Selena runs up to me with a $10 bill in her hand. I’m like, where did you get that? She says, I just found it on the floor. There was no one else in the bathroom except for me, Selena, Carrie and Penny… none of us had dropped it, so we told Selena it was her lucky day. That made her night!!!
A bunch of the guys were at the bar… oh how I wished I could have had a fruity, tropical drink… but no… it wasn’t meant to be. Seltzer is what I would drink most of my trip. That’s ok. I’m over it. The food was great and we had so much fun!!! I LOVED the salad dressing. I couldn’t get enough of it!!! And the shrimp appetizer they brought out. My favorite thing of all though was the scalloped potatoes. I ate an entire plate myself. They were sooooooooo good!!! Then the guy that plays his ukulele (sp?) came out and asked if there were any celebrations going on. There were two couples getting married the next day. Surprise, surprise, we were one of them. We had to get up and dance while he played and sang Love Me Tender. So cute!!!
Did I mention the best man started a spit ball war... our end of the table was having waaaaayyyyy too much fun...
Well, after dinner came dessert… I wish I could have taken that home!!! Banana Bread Pudding with Banana Fosters sauce… they brought out a few plates of it and then passed out individual serving plates. They put one of the plates with the pudding in front of my great aunt and she just started eating it. I think Andrew and I were the only ones who noticed it for a while. She wasn’t even sharing with her sister, my grandmother, sitting right next to her. It was hilarious.

They brought us out another serving anyway. LOL!!! So funny. After that I handed out the bags I had made for the girls with their goodies in them. Well, we sat there for about 2 hours and then we realized we were the only ones left… hmmmmm… I think it’s time to leave. So, on to the next event of the evening.
Everyone went back to Mom & Dad’s villa in the Boardwalk. She had ordered nachos, a cheese platter and a fruit platter and a veggie platter. I think I ate all the green olives on the veggie platter, and let me tell you, there were a lot of them. Everyone says I’m going to have a boy because I’m craving the exact opposite of what I craved when I was pregnant with my daughter. I wanted sweet stuff when I was pregnant with Selena. Now, I can’t really tolerate sweet stuff. For me to turn away ice cream, most of my friends would think the world is coming to an end. But offer me pretzels, olives or pickles and I’m your best friend. The fruit was fabulous also. We had everyone come back except for Allison, because she had final papers to work on for college. Not only did everyone from the dinner come but we had a few others who were down for the wedding come over too. What a great night!!!

We filled that 2 bedroom villa. We had people out on the balconies, in the kitchen, the living room, the hallway, the foyer… it was great. By 10:45 p.m. everyone had pretty much gone home so we decided it was time to go back to the hotel because tomorrow was our big day and we had a semi-early start. Plus, the boys had to go to the After Hours store to adjust their jackets and hats… it all turns out ok. I think this was the first time in my life I can remember Andrew being on time. He’s so great!!!

The next installment will be about our big day!!!!
(P.S. - I will post more pics when I get them from my Mom
