Diagnosis for Vince's Doc *First Chemo update 2/24--pg 5*

Please tell Vince to not give up hope. My cat was diagnosed with cancer at 14 and still outlived many cats by living till 17 years...

I pray that the chemo makes it better.... and that everyone finds the strength to get through this.

He's a beautiful big boy! As someone who has 3 cats and just loves dogs(but doesn't want to have one) I feel all your pain. No matter what our animals love us and sense our feelings. They do bring so much joy into our lives, how can we not love them and think of them as our family.

I hope all goes well and you have many happy years together with that big guy.

That Doc is one handsome guy!! So sorry to hear it is lymphoma You all will be in my prayers. I hate when my furries are hurt or sick. My Puppy has Panosteitis(growing pains)....not deadly or permanent but painful. I hate seeing him lame and hearing him whimper. Must be awful for you all as you care for Doc. to you all!

So sorry for you, Vince and Doc, Dan. How old is Doc? My 15 YO housedog has a very aggressive chain tumor too, but at her age, it was decided to only treat pain. Keep us updated on how Doc does on the chemo.

Yes, I hadnt heard of chemo for dogs as well.

Our lab is old (14), and has tumors. The vet said the prior owner (my now decedased MIL) knew about them and her decision was to let nature run its course.

We are respecting my MIL decision on that, and the vet is aware of it.
