I have it as well. Things have improved for me lately- here's what I've done that seems to help.
1) I watch my diet (I try to limit my gluten intake- no wheat, barley, or rye)- not to say that I follow a gluten-free diet, but limiting those areas seems to really help. For example, if I were to eat some pretzels or animal crackers etc, I would wake up in a "fibroflare" (does that make sense?) I try to really limit my intake to be fruits & vegetables, and proteins.
2) I exercise- I walk 3 miles per day, currently. I walk more when I'm stressed. I find that exercise is a great way to destress.
3)Because of diet & exercise- I've lost over 100 lbs in a year and a half
4)I make sure that there's some kind of activity that I enjoy participating in so that I can continue to decompress/destress.
5) After all of that, I do take an Ambien (available in generic for around $5 at SamsClub!) at night so I get a good night's sleep.
These upcoming temperature changes are going to mess with me... ugh.
