Who else has it?

What do you do for it?

I need to exercise and take off some weight- and try to improve my sleep habits.

Advice appreciated!

I take Ambien. Getting a deep sleep helps a lot. I was doing very good with the exercise and weight loss. Since the school year started I've gotten slack and I can feel it. I"ll be going to the gym tomorrow.

I have it as well. Things have improved for me lately- here's what I've done that seems to help.

1) I watch my diet (I try to limit my gluten intake- no wheat, barley, or rye)- not to say that I follow a gluten-free diet, but limiting those areas seems to really help. For example, if I were to eat some pretzels or animal crackers etc, I would wake up in a "fibroflare" (does that make sense?) I try to really limit my intake to be fruits & vegetables, and proteins.

2) I exercise- I walk 3 miles per day, currently. I walk more when I'm stressed. I find that exercise is a great way to destress.

3)Because of diet & exercise- I've lost over 100 lbs in a year and a half

4)I make sure that there's some kind of activity that I enjoy participating in so that I can continue to decompress/destress.

5) After all of that, I do take an Ambien (available in generic for around $5 at SamsClub!) at night so I get a good night's sleep.

These upcoming temperature changes are going to mess with me... ugh.

I don't have it, a girl I work with does. She's in pain a lot she says. :grouphug::grouphug:

There's a nice thread on the Disabilities Community board about it. I was only diagnosed last month, but my DF has had it for 15 yrs, so I know a lot about it. I think the hardest thing for me is learning to put "me first", because, if I don't, I will pay for it. I used to be a type A bull through it type person, and I'm trying hard to change. Sleep, sleep, sleep, exercise and diet are SO important. Know that you are not alone, and here are a few:hug::hug::hug: for you.
