DHS to HDDR

To get from DHS to HDDR, would you ...

Option A: Take a bus to MK and hop on the FW boat. That would get us close to Pioneer Hall, right? It’s been quite a while since we last did HDDR and I can’t remember.

Option B: Take a bus to FW and then take the other bus from the Outpost to Pioneer Hall?

We don’t want to do a Lyft, Minnie Van or Uber. Too many people & car seats needed - don’t want to spend that much for 2 Minnie vans.

You'll probably encounter a much shorter line for a bus to Ft. Wilderness than the bus to MK.

We did this a couple weeks ago and went with option A. It was easy. I honestly don’t remember how long it all took though, didn’t pay much attention. We gave ourselves plenty of time. If I had to guess I’d say we were walking out of HS a little before 2 and were at pioneer hall a little after 3.

Personally, I would bus to MK and catch the boat. The dock is directly down the street from Pioneer Hall.

Additionally, there’s a boat that does a WL-CR-FW loop so a bus to CR or WL could also be an option.

since OP said about carseats I would not use that boat because I am guessing strollers that have to be folded if I remember right

There is a nice playground near Pioneer Hall. Horse stables are close by; pony and wagon rides are available and surprisingly not overly priced.

Oh wait! We are (most likely) going to be staying at BLT. Totally forgot about this boat loop. We should go back to BLT a bit earlier and drop off our strollers and park gear then do that boat loop!

Thanks for reminding me about that. I actually forgot about this boat loop and we will most likely be staying at BLT. I think bussing back to the resort a bit earlier and dropping off our strollers and park gear could work best.

if you have ones I the group that could benefit from it as mentioned above the park like playground to let kids burn some steam before sitting for the dinner and show. you didn't ask but remember restrooms are outside the Hall so make sure you visit before entering. yes you can go during dinner and show bur they are not inside
