DHS to DTD and how much time?

What would you consider the fastest/easiest way to get from DHS to DTD? We will be have two small children in tow.

We have a 5:30 reservation at TRex....is an hour enough time to get from DHS to Trex in DTD?

I'm guessing bus to SSR then walk over to DTD. Not sure how long it takes

Fastest way is by automobile (yours, rented, or chauffeured).

And hailing a taxi is very easy.

By bus you can take one from Hollywood studios to any resort along the way (Caribbean Beach, Saratoga Springs, Port Orleans, Old Key West, even Pop Century or Art of Animation), then transfer to a bus for Downtown Disney. Allow 75 minutes, considering you still have to walk from the bus stop to the restaurant.

If the boat is there (to the left as you walk out from the DHS entrance plaza) loading for Boardwalk, Beach Club, etc. you could take that to the first stop and then take the Downtown Disney bus. You would have to walk from the dock through the resort to the bus stop.

A cab would be the fastest way, but if you have children under 4 you'll need a car seat.

I would take the bus to Pop Century (it has great bus service) and then another bus to DTD. Allow 75 to 90 minutes.

The walk from SSR to T-Rex will be about 3/4 mile. If your kids can handle that and the weather is nice, allow at least an hour. Get off at the Congress Park stop at SSR (should be the 4th stop.)

Otherwise, I agree with bus to Pop and then bus to DTD. Allow 90 minutes. T-Rex is a bit closer to PI, which is the 2nd stop at DTD, but it might be faster to get off at MktPlace & walk.
