Hello,

planning a Saturdday at DHS, dessert party, SWGS, 8:00 pm. and then either a boat ride or walk over to Epcot. Epcot will be closing at 10:00 pm.

Planning to arrive at Epcot around 9:00 pm, prolly earlier as we are brisk walkers. Will we be able to snag a fastpass for Soarin? I am hoping to go on at least one ride like Soarin or Spaceship then head towards Illuminations.

Also hoping to watch illuminations at 10:00 p.m., will the best views be 5 or 6 rows deep of people?

Another question, after illumintions, we plan to monorail over to Magic Kingdom as it closes at midnight. Will the monorail be terrible crowded at closing of Epcot? Are there bus services to Magic Kingdom from Epcot?

i know lots of questions. Thank you for any input and advice.

Every time we go to Epcot the fastpasses to Soarin' are all gone before lunch time for the rest of the day but you never know, you may be lucky :)

No Soarin' availability that late.

Best views for IllumiNations will be packed.

Monorails will be crowded.

No bus service from Epcot to Magic Kingdom-you could walk to The Beach Club and grab a bus there.:)

Soarin will almost assuredly be all out of FP+ but check every couple of minutes as things do open up very last minute from time to time.

Are there bus services to Magic Kingdom from Epcot?

Bus service from the Boardwalk and Beach Club will be available to Magic Kingdom so if you position yourself between UK and France, it's a quick get away to either location. Both bus stops are just shy of .5 mile fro the bridge between UK and France with Beach Club being slightly closer.

Taking the bus may or may not be faster, but it would certainly be easier/less congested, etc.

Depending on where in the world showcase you watched Illuminations from, it may be shorter to walk to Beach Club than the monorail.

About .5 mi from bridge to Beach Club bus stop

Alternatively, if you walked from the direct center of the world showcase to the monorail, you're looking at about .36 mi

thank you everyone. Ok, FP for Soarin will be out. Wondering how is standby be? I just checked this second and the Soarin is at 60 minutes. thinking now of just skipping Illuminations and just do Standby for Soarin and spaceship and the monorail over to MK at 9:45 p.m.-ish before Illuminations start to get ahead of the crowds.

Wow, thank you LSU fan, what a neat map. What is this? What is that map called?

I would not skip Illuminations. It is our very favorite nighttime entertainment.

thank you hopefully, I will definitely plan on seeing it during my stay there.

FYI: when we were at Epcot on Sat Sept24 during Food n Wine, I found Illuminations very doable. Lots of front row spots around Canada 5 mins before the show. We had FPs and the area was surprisingly uncrowded. We got second row standing spots easily about 1 min after the show started.
