Since all the big rides are in Tier 1 for DHS, what strategy do you use? I was thinking of getting a FP+ a little later in the morning for TSM and book it to Tot and RnRR as soon as the park opens. RnRR 1st since that line always seems to move slower than ToT. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The early Magic Hours are on our 1st full day of the trip, and is also the same night MK is open till 2am. I don't think we could do both!

ToT is not a Tier 1, just TSMM & RnRC. I always FP TSMM and ToT, and use the single rider line at RnRC.

ToT is a tier 2 attraction, so you could get a FP+ for that. Then you only need to really worry about hightailing it over to RnR.

Same as what was mentioned before. We FP+ ToT, TSMM, and whatever else. Then we get to the park at or around RD and head straight to RnRC.

We did this last time and we were able to jump on to ToT right after RnRC without a FP+. We went during a park level 6 and were able to do this.

Oh, Thanks! I was reading MesaBoys post incorrectly. I saw all 3 of those as an "A" ranking and didn't realize ToT was not in Bold Font. A little confusing! Thanks for setting me straight. That makes life easier!

What others said is correct. Personally my strategy is to get FP+ for TSMM/ToT/ST. Since TSMM is the most popular, and I want to ride it multiple times, I usually go there at RD, then head to RnRC standby, then ToT using standby or FP if necessary. But we are willing to do RnRC single rider if necessary, we've found that to often be very quick in the morning (5-10 minute wait).

If we weren't willing to do single rider line, we might head to RnRC first. That might be the better plan, given that so many people at RD are making the mad dash to TSMM.

We plan to sleep in, do TSM and ToT with FPs late morning, then take our chances with RnR. The absolute worst case will be RnR is an hour, so we will have an average of 20 minute wait for the park's three rides.

We use FP+ for TSM. We do RnR during the first Fantasmic show, then go to the second show ourselves.

You've probably changed your plan due to FP+ info, but to me, during RD, it makes sense to go to the headliner with the shortest line first. You'll get on and off of it, then still get "early" lines for the second one. If you do RnR first, you will get to ToT when lines have been building longer. I think with this strategy you minimize line waiting overall, and maximize number of rides you can get on with light lines during the early hours. Make sense? Am I crazy?

We usually arrive at rope drop and head to RnRC/ToT and ride both of those. Then head to Star Tours and GMR. Have FPs for TSM, Star Tour and ToT. But it's not really important for us to ride TSM multiple times - more so important for us to ride RnRC and ToT multiple times.
